Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good and staff were extremely friendly! Everything was close by; only a few steps to the promenade. We had a great vacation time and will be back.

Wir (w27, m31) haben kürzlich zwei Nächte hier verbracht und können das Hotel wärmstens empfehlen! Wir wurden herzlich mit Gebäck und einer handgeschriebenen Karte empfangen. Das Hotel ist sehr schick und altmodisch, wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Ja, an einigen Stellen ist es etwas in die Jahre gekommen – das hat uns nicht weiter gestört. Sehr schön finden wir die Hundefreundlichkeit des Hotels. Die Lage ist toll: direkt am Strand und nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu Restaurants und dem kleinen Städtchen. Der Spa-Bereich ist klein, aber fein: zwei Saunen, zwei Dampfbäder (leider war eines außer Betrieb), Ruhebereiche, ein Indoor-Pool und ein kleiner Fitnessraum. Morgens werden teilweise Yoga- und Pilateskurse angeboten. Spa und Kurse waren im Preis inklusive – klasse! Etwas störend fanden wir allerdings, dass auch Kinder den Spa-Bereich nutzen durften. Leider mangelte es teilweise auch bei Erwachsenen an Rücksichtnahme. Hier könnte das Hotel aus unserer Sicht etwas mehr darauf achten. Der Parkplatz vor dem Hotel ist etwas eng und kostet 15 € pro Nacht, was wir recht teuer fanden. Auch 27 € p. P. fürs Frühstück sind nicht günstig, dafür gibt es ein großes, leckeres Buffet mit viel Auswahl und zusätzliche Gerichte/Getränke à la carte. Unser Standard-Zimmer war überraschend groß, gemütlich und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Bad war im Verhältnis dazu recht klein. Das Bett war sehr bequem, die Minibar inklusive. Das gesamte Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Mein Maisonette-Zimmer war das schönste, in dem ich je geschlafen habe. Das Hotel hat so einen ungewöhnlichen und traditionellen Charme, den man so fast nirgendwo mehr findet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Spa-Bereich wunderbar- toller Pool, und ein wunderschöner, ruhiger Garten, in dem man immer einen sonnigen Platz findet. Einfach herrlich!

Das Hotel lebt vom Ruf vergangener Zeiten. Leider ist der Service mittelmäßig - sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant. Ein paar Beispiele: Nachdem es im uns zugewiesenen Zimmer unerträglich laut wummerte durften wir zwar Zimmer wechseln, es gab aber keine Entschuldigung, stattdessen wurde uns eher das Gefühl vermittelt der Zimmertausch würde aus Kulanz ermöglicht. Im Restaurant wurde uns der fleischige Gruß aus der Küche nach unserem Hinweis, dass wir Vegetarier sind weggezogen mit dem Kommentar „Dann tut es mir leid“. Einen vegetarischen Ersatz gab es nicht. Der Zimmerservice musste am ersten Tag extra angefordert werden, am letzten kam er überraschend rein während wir am packen waren - weil wir ohnehin bald auschecken würden. Zudem gab es eingetrocknete Zahnpasta und Kalkflecken am Waschbecken. Alles in allem kein Service der der Exklusivität entspricht, mit dem sich das Hotel rühmt.

Altes Hotel in bester Lage. Wer ein Zimmer mit Meerblick möchte, sollte Details erfragen. Wir wurden für über 300 Euro die Nacht im Dachgeschoss untergebracht (warm). Den Meerblick konnten wir nur im Stehen genießen (eine Art Oberlicht). Die Minibar war inklusive. Zu meiner Verwunderung war sie aber nur mit zwei kleinen Flaschen Wasser ausgestattet, die nicht einmal regelmäßig nachgefüllt wurden. Die weiblichen Mitarbeiter der Rezeption waren tendenziell arrogant, aber freundlich. Wir sind um 10.30 Uhr mit Jetlag angereist, haben dies zum Ausdruck gebracht und mussten bis nach 14 Uhr warten (Check-in Zeit 15 Uhr). Rechtlich ok. Das Zimmer war geräumig. Im ansonsten schönen Badezimmer gab es in einer schönen begehbaren Dusche nur eine Handbrause (Premiere für mich in sehr guten und auch schlechten Hotels). Das wahre Plus ist die Frühstücksterrasse und ein phantastisches Personal, das an der Ostsee seines Gleichen sucht. Auch das Personal der Bar hat Freude gemacht. Der Fitnessraum ist sehr gut ausgestattet, leider isr er zu warm, da er direkt an den Wellnessbereich angrenzt. Fazit: Es gibt deutlich bessere Alternativen an der Ostsee in diesem Preisseqment (Hohe Düne, Steigenberger Grand Hotel in Heringsdorf). Nächste Woche mache ich den nächsten Test.

Am besten haben mir die Zimmer und der Ausblick gefallen. Leider wirkt das große, in die Jahre gekommene Hotel etwas marode und aus der Zeit gefallen. Es müsste belebter und fröhlicher gestaltet werden, vielleicht könnte man mit tollen Veranstaltungen ein wenig mehr Leben in das alte Gemäuer hauchen.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Morgens beim Frühstück schon gleich das freundliche Personal , so aufmerksam und immer nah am Menschen. Toll ! Das Haus selbst ist schön und bietet einiges, allein der Tee in der Eingangshalle , sehr lobenswert. Die Bar ist auch super. Schön hell. Nächstes Mal testen wir auch die Zigarren Lounge aus.

Tolles Gebäude, schöne Einrichtung, nettes Personal - wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Verbesserungspotenzial: Wir würden uns längere Gym- & Spa-Öffnungszeiten wünschen. 21 Uhr Schluss war uns mit Essengehen oder anderen Unternehmungen dann doch meistens zu früh. Das Frühstück und Angebot waren qualitativ hervorragend. Wir hätten uns jedoch gewünscht Empfangen und zum Tisch geführt zu werden.
