The Barn at Toad Hill is truly unique! It's a small barn (about 700 sf) that was moved into the property and completely remodeled. It has modern touches but keeps its rustic charm. The loft contains the bedroom. Downstairs you will find the living area, dining area, bathroom & kitchenette (please note...there is no stove/convection oven). There's a nice covered porch on the front. We are about 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville and about an hour from Gatlinburg. We are also a short drive from the airport. The property is NOT ran by a management company! We deal with everything personally so if you have any questions or problems you will be dealing directly with us. We hope you choose Toad Hill!

Beautiful & Cozy

We loved staying here! It was our first time in Tennessee and we were in town for a concert. Doug gave us great information and advice about the area which was greatly appreciated. We had a great stay! We had activities in Maryville and Knoxville, and it was very convenient to both. It is a small space perfect for 2 people and they didn’t miss any details. Owner was very responsive as well and checked in on us.

Tiny barn getaway

The neighborhood was quiet which is a huge plus for me. The house was clean (the shower and bathroom area were beautiful) and the bed was super comfy. Everything was adequately described in the booking as it was when I arrived. Communication with host was timely and respectful. Host was absolutely amazing. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Recently renovated and charming, the barn is perfectly situated close to great restaurants, the airport, and downtown Knoxville. Beautifully decorated and fully furnished, it features a king-size bed, a washer and dryer, a lovely front deck for relaxing, and an outdoor grill. Thoughtful touches, like his and hers terrycloth embroidered bathrobes, add to the comfort. Doug and Cindy, my hosts, were exceptionally friendly, easy to reach, and wonderfully accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable

Vacation to Knoxville to visit my best friend

We had an absolutely amazing time at this property. It was in the perfect location, for us, to the city. And it was such a lovely property with amazing hosts. Great Basecamp

A comfy, convenient basecamp with lots of character and just right amenities. I came into town for a Bronco Off-Roadeo event in Maryville, and surrounding visits to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cherokee, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Knoxville. Set in a small residential neighborhood with large greenbelt lots and near the airport and highways, noise wasn't an issue with heating/air systems, nice touches like coffee and snacks, spa-like bathroom and robes, king bed, peekaboo views, and a responsive property owner. Enjoy!

Gem Just Outside Knoxville

A quick and breezy drive from downtown Knoxville, the barn is absolutely PERFECT if you’re looking for a unique and cozy place to stay with be plenty of character. The location is tucked off the main road in a quiet residential area, which is lovely if you’re a walker - very safe and protected no matter what time of day! While my visit didn’t allow me to meet the hosts in person, their communication was timely, kind, reliable, and incredibly helpful. As a former Knoxville resident who travels back regularly to visit friends, I’ll absolutely look here first for future stays! I can’t recommend this location enough!

Doug was an awesome host, very attentive throughout with excellent and prompt communication from start to finish. The luxury barn had everything we needed and then some! We were always comfortable: the barn is cozy, loved the heated bathroom, individual floor thermostats, snacks, and even cream for coffee…seriously they’ve thought of everything! We will definitely stay here again and recommend to family and friends once we move to the area! Thank you Doug for the wonderful hospitality! It was beyond exceptional!!!

This was such a wonderful stay at the barn! We were so sad to leave. It was better than we could have imagined. We would definitely stay again! Doug & Cathy were so kind and accommodating! The detail that has been put into this barn is truly remarkable..inside and out. WHEN you choose this home away from home take a good look around. The details will surly entertain..the view is beautiful day and night. We had a toddler and a dog with us and it was more than enough room for them to play. Heat and ac work great. Antique Furnished Cabin

The Barn @ Toad Hill was a great mix of unique, mordern, & vintage decor and appliances. Doug & Kathy were very accommodating when our plans changed last min for a family reunion and we ended up having my 6 year old neice tag along. We are very thankful for our stay on this dead end road and cant wait to return next year! The bed was comfy, the fan was cold and the shower was steamin! Plus they had embroidered robes! We felt so pampered in the cabin, we cut out early on our family reunion to netflix in the bedroom with that giant TV thats angled at you. Thanks for your hospitality! 10/10 recommend for 1 or two people looking for a quite getaway, ten min from the hustle & bussle of Knoxville.
