From the moment we set foot in this wonderful place, we felt completely relaxed and at home. It has everything a sensible and undemanding traveller requires - and Carmen was a charming and educated host. The pool looked enticing but the cool evening airs prohibited swimming. Suffice it to say sitting out under the trees with the glint of the moon offering light was ideal for a short self made supper. Close to a great local venta.... Food was always enticing and within budget.
Great location, quite rural and quiet with amazing views but close enough to walk to the local village for nice restaurants.
Carmen was our hostess and she was very friendly and helpful about the local area,
Had our own small chalet type room with separate shower which led out to a shaded area with seating where our dog could run and not be in anyone's way.
Main area quite quirky and a bit hippy-ish but clean ,large pool and snooker tables, nice swimming pool which was very welcome after a day sightseeing, such a relaxing place to be, no frills but I would go back anytime.
We were completing a long distance walk on the GR7 between El Chorro & Antequera with backpacks. This was a very convenient rural stop-over, peaceful and wonderful pool that we shared with 16 deer that came down to drink after our swim! Quirky, friendly place....good sized apartments....with a good restaurant down the road for meals...where we sampled the local Chiva (goat).
The hotel is pretty remote, and up a hill. But is utterly tranquil and had a beautiful rustic character. We are at the restaurant twice which was authentic and delicious (recommend the black pork). The room was lovely and the shower was powerful and hot! Owner Carmen is a gem. She tolerated my ropey Spanish language skills and made us feel extremely welcome. We look forward to going back some day!
The address supplied by Expedia for this hotel was completely incorrect. In fact it was 20km wrong and completely on the other side of the town of Antequera.
This wrong information almost cost us our night's accommodation, as it was getting very late by the time we found it. I will never use Expedia again

Good experience
The hotel is in a very beautiful place. The pool is very nice but the rooms, despite being kind of rustic, smells good. The fan only covers the main bed. The children that slept in the other part of the same room felt difficult to sleep due to the heat.
