Food is a bit on the expensive side. Clean rooms and facilities. Friendly staff. We did not enjoy the beach as it was wavy that time. Lots of restaurants around.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful and perfectly located on a private beach within walking distance of many amenities. I was however very disappointed at the way Club Cascades’ front desk supervisor and Expedia handled my booking. While checking in Veronica, the front desk supervisor mentioned that we would have to move not even half way through our reservation. The possibility that we would have to be relocated to an entirely different property was also mentioned. I was shocked at how defensive and unaccommodating Veronica was. Customer service by Club Cascades’ front desk supervisor was not provided to me or my guests. Veronica explained this was not the first time this has happened… I have been a consistent Expedia user and never experienced an issue to this magnitude. This was especially distressing since it took place the day before my birthday. The next day a hotel staff member addressed one of my guests who was not involved in the hotel booking and told her we’d have to move and showed her another room. She told them she could not make that decision. This was done without notification or discussion with me. Club Cascades found another room for me and my guests on the property and I am grateful that it worked out. The majority of the hotel staff were professional, pleasant and very helpful. Needless to say the supervisor, Veronica was NOT. Expedia and the hotel need to remedy this issue immediately and not allow guests to book beyond Thursday as per Club Cascades regulat

LOVE
i love this place as it feels like home away from home :)
We stayed here for the first time. It’s mainly timeshares, and our condo was very nice! Plenty of room, lovely decor, and quiet mostly. There are 2 pools and a beachfront restaurant. It would be a better rating if the staff had seen fit to let us have a late checkout as our plane was at 7 pm. but they did not care. So, an otherwise lovely stay was marred by having to spend several hours on the last day, without air conditioning on a very hot day. They did allow us to use the pool, however.
The architecture is iconic! Edward Giddings is in a class by himself and has received many awards for his architectural designs both in the US
and in Mexico.
Iconic resort from the architect Edward Giddings. Spotless and without room TVs or phones. Restaurant is undergoing renovation so service is reduced for now.
The staff were wonderful. Willing to help even with a language barrier. Small and intimate spot on the Sea of Cortes! Beach was beautiful with great view of the arch location. But chances of getting a spot under the umbrellas remote unless you get there at 6 am. The hotel room was recently remodeled but location was miserable. Maybe it was due to booking through Expedia. Room 212 is directly above the kitchen, which was in full operation due to construction of the main kitchen. Kitchen odors strong and noise emanates starting 4:30 am through 11 pm. View is the wall of adjoining building with back view being a huge water park. We also had room 211 and that view was even worse and room very dark. Lighting is dim so bring a flashlight to read. Concerns expressed but staff advised nothing could be done. No shampoo so bring your own. Room location was in hotel along the street with beach a hike away. Maybe these concerns exist since price was so good!
It took three different employees to find our reservation. Then on the second night, we came home from dinner to the kitchen sink full of cockroaches. The next day they moved us to a new room, we swapped our original keys for one new key. When we checked out they insisted we were supposed to have two keys. The employee who had given me the key was working at the desk and acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about.
We did end up with a better room because of the cockroaches and they moved us without question. The housekeeping and wait staff was very friendly. The two pools were beautifully kept.
Great stay in cabo. The hotel had a nice “small” feeling, nice architecture, clean rooms and a mix of hotel rooms and timeshare apartments. Surprisingly good food in the restaurant and pleasant staff. We stayed in 211 which had no view so avoid this room if you can.
One other note - when you check out you have to queue twice - once for the room and then for the restaurant tab. Not a big deal but worth knowing if you’re in a hurry. Would recommend this place for families and those who don’t want to eat out all the time.
the resort was kept in good condition.
beach access is great, but didn’t like how other guests hoard the palapas to themselves. after relaxing on palapas for more than an hour with my spouse reading a book, some folks came and claim that they had the palapas reserved, that they just went for breakfast but the palapas were on are reserved for them. there’s no such thing as reservation, but the club doesn’t do anything about those guests.
also, please note that they don’t provide shampoo & conditioner in your room so make sure you bring yours or buy them.
Excellent architecture offered style, privacy and luxury. Very attentive service with genuine friendliness. We will book again soon.

Quaint and very basic
Pleasant but very basic. Very quaint and adequate, but no T.V., internet was iffy in the room, no telephone in the room or alarm clock. I am a senior and there are many stairs, but they were kind enough to move me to a ground level room. Dark along the path and hard to locate and find my room. Overall, for the price, I was happy, and the restaurant was very accommodating and food had always been above average. Service good. Pool area very nice. Construction going on right now.
The property is kept immaculately clean, and all the staff we've encountered have been very friendly. After my husband and I checked in, we found out that we were placed in a room that was right next to the construction that was going on at the property, and the noise was quite loud. We inquired about a room switch, and was informed that we needed to talk with the Sales office. Rory at the Sales office was very helpful, even though he was unable to switch us that night, we checked in with him again the next morning and he had already noted our request and had a room ready for us to move into. The room switch was painless, and we enjoyed the remainder of our stay much more thanks to the switch.
Even though the hotel was kids friendly and there were many kids on the property, overall we enjoyed ourselves and thought we made the right decision picking this property over others that would've been adult-only, as on some days when we walked on the beach by other properties, the adult-only properties all had loud party music going, which we would've hated. Club Cascadas caters to the slightly older and more mature crowd, and it was great there was never any loud music going on at the property. The hotel is on the beach and has many palapas for guests to use, although if you go down a bit later in the morning most of them would have already been taken, so reserve them early.
We dined at the hotel restaurant three times, also great service with decent food and nice ambiance.
