Located just 450ft from the beach and The Strand boardwalk, and only 2 blocks from the Hermosa Beach Pier, which makes this property the perfect location for enjoying all that the beautiful South Bay beaches have to offer! There are so many activities at the beach and depending on the time of your visit, you can enjoy concerts at the beach, volleyball, lifeguard competitions, or surfing tournaments, whale watching, view SpaceX rocket launches from Noble Park which is 300 feet from the house, and there is tons of shopping and numerous fine/casual dining options all within a very short walking distance. This is a three bedroom two bath property with a gourmet kitchen and private balcony with private BBQ. You also have access to the upstairs furnished shared rooftop deck, with ocean/city views. The garage is also a shared space equipped with beach cruiser bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards, surf boards, and washer/dryer. Each unit can park ONE car in the driveway. There is also the option of renting the lower 2 bedroom 3 bath with separate kitchen when availability allows. Renting both units would allow access to 5 bedrooms/5 bathrooms, and 2 parking spaces in the driveway. The listing number for the lower unit is #410924. This was our absolute favorite beach rental. It has everything you need and more to make it a fantastic stay. Steps from the beach and restaurants, large fully stocked kitchen, great interior, comfortable beds, a garage full of bikes and gear for guests. We couldn’t have asked for more and it was hard to leave after a wonderful month in Hermosa Beach. Mary Jo and Kirk are very kind and friendly, we are looking forward to coming back to this gem.

We had a wonderful experience here. The location is ideal as you are steps from the beach and right by all the shops and restaurants at the Hermosa Pier. The house itself is very comfortable and equipped with everything you might need for a great beach stay — towels, bikes, surf boards, beach chairs, volleyballs, sand toys, etc. WiFi worked well and kitchen was well stocked for a longer stay. The outdoor balcony and rooftop are great places to catch some sunshine and relax. Kirk and Mary Jo were great to deal with and we’re so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

The condo was wonderful and MaryJo was amazing. She was so considerate and helpful, always available if we had questions. Her property is a great location to get to the beach and anywhere along the Strand. She had all the fun accessories for the beach as well with beach toys, surf board, beach chairs and umbrellas. It was completely stocked. The kitchen is our favorite place of the entire condo. It is spacious and a perfect gathering spot. We were able to have a clear view of the 4th of July fireworks from the rooftop deck without having to crowd with everyone else on the beach. Overall, we couldn't have asked for better accommodations or location. It was fabulous!

We just spent a month at this perfectly located, extra spacious townhouse. Fully stocked HUGE kitchen. New stainless steel appliances, bbq grill on private deck, and another on the shared upper deck. Electric fireplace for cool mornings and evenings. Even has a private elevator to move luggage and people between floors. Only steps to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Everything provided for a fun time ... generous selection of beach bikes, surfboards, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, sports equipment, beach towels. The hosts, Kirk and Mary Jo, are fantastic! Super accommodating and available if needed. We will definitely be back next year!

Everything about our stay here was nothing but amazing ! We stayed over 30 days! Kirk and Maryjo are amazing hosts. They made us feel right at home. It has everything you need. They provide many beach chairs, many bikes, beach towels, a full kitchen with amazing cookware! Fresh clean lines and towels, hair dryer, washer/dryer, grill… I could go on and on with all they provided. And talk about LOCATION! It is perfect. Right in the heart of Hermosa Beach. A few steps away from the stand and the beach. I barely needed a car. I love it so much here! I can not wait to come back again next year, if not sooner! I got so lucky when I found Kirk's and Maryjo’s rental on VRBO! It is a gem! I can not say enough of how happy and how much fun my family and I had during our stay here. I’ll truly miss it! But I’ll be back! 5 stars for sure!!!

Had a fantastic month in Hermosa beach. The property listing was very accurate as were the great reviews that led us to book Kirk and Mary Jo’s place. Communication was fantastic with both hosts and we really felt well taken care of. The place is equipped with everything you need to have a wonderful beach vacation. I also was able to work remotely easily with the high speed internet and even got to bring the laptop to the rooftop deck and put in some hours in the sun. Beach is less than a block away. Wish we had more of an opportunity to use all the beach toys and bikes - next time! Thanks for a fantastic stay and a chance to make some memories with our family.

Wow! What a nice property!! Kirk was an amazing host. He gave us a full run through of the features of the house and neighborhood. The fun equipment available made it really easy. Everything about our Hermosa Beach House experience was perfect! We leased the property for a month and we were not ready to leave when our time was up! The owners/managers of the property were top notch. Couldn’t of asked for better! Home is less than a block from the beach and just a few blocks from restaurants, bars and the market for groceries. We enjoyed all of the activities! Beach Volleyball, beach tennis, boogie boarding, surfing, biking, running and walking on the Strand. Thank you Ayers for having us enjoy your beautiful Beach House, would love to make it back out again sometime in the near future!

I can't even describe how wonderful our two month stay was. Kirk and Mary Jo were amazing and treated us like we had lived there forever and we were all just good friends living in the same complex. Everything about the place is incredible: the location, the kitchen, garage full of any beach need possible. It is just an amazing place, and we feel so lucky to have found dates available for us to experience it, and I would book it again in a heartbeat.

The accommodations were great? The only downfalll was the construction of a hotel going on across the street. Usually stopped by 4:00 so sitting on the lovely patio was great in the afternoon and evening. The location made it Easy to walk or ride your bike to everywhere. We love this house! We have stayed in this property before and we our always looking forward to returning. This house becomes part of our vacation. We feel at home here. The location to the the Pier and Pier Avenue for restaurants and shopping is convenient. We appreciate the bikes available for our bike rides to Venice Beach ! This home and Hermosa Beach make our trips from the East Coast memorable.

This was our third time staying at Mary Jo’s home, and it gets better each visit. The house itself becomes part of our vacation... we enjoy spending time in the large kitchen, on the balcony and the rooftop deck. The beds and the bedding are comfortable and relaxing. The elevator is not only fun, but comes in handy with the luggage. Everything about the home makes you feel welcome. The location is amazing, so close to the ocean and we love spending time in Hermosa Beach, there is so much to do! We take walks on the strand and the Pier, and we love to ride the bikes all the way to Venice Beach. A short walk to Pier Avenue offers your choice of coffee shops, restaurants, and retail shops. Early in the morning, we love to go get coffee to watch the sunrise, and we head out to the beach after dinner to watch the beautiful Southern California sunset. Mary Jo is so friendly and always available & helpful if you need anything. A fantastic host! We travel from the East Coast, to visit our family in Los Angeles, and we can't imagine staying anywhere else for our beach vacation.

This home has become a part of our family! We hope to continue vacationing here! Mary Jo is always available and responds immediately. She makes it easy to be here. We have grown to love Hermosa Beach and all it has to offer. This home is convenient to everything and we can walk or ride bikes to do anything we want. We are so lucky to be in a house that has so many amenities, a parking spot, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, an elevator , washer & dryer. bicycles ... the list goes on and on. Great location. Just steps from the beach and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Very nice place! Clean, nice amenities and comfortable. A great add was all of the beach items that were available. Chairs, toys, bikes, umbrellas, etc.
