Located just 450ft from the Strand boardwalk, the sandy beach, and only two blocks from the Hermosa Pier makes this property the perfect location for enjoying all that Hermosa Beach has to offer. This is a BASEMENT unit that locks off from the main house and has its own private entrance. The unit has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a Queen size bed. The other bedroom has a full sized bed. There is also a living room area that can be used as an office for remote working. This unit has two full bathrooms, and another 1/2 bathroom off of the living room. The kitchen is very well stocked. There is a stove top burner and a counter Breville convection oven for baking and toasting. There is NO VIEW from this unit. This rental is all about LOCATION, as it is extremely close to the beach, the HB Pier, and The Strand boardwalk. This basement unit has stairs, and may not be ideal for guests that have difficulty with stairs. You will have access to the shared rooftop deck, which has ocean and city views, along with outdoor furniture and large lounging areas to enjoy the sunshine, and the beautiful sunsets. The garage is also a shared space with the main house, and is loaded with beach toys that guests can use whenever they want. Bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, boogie boards, and surf boards are all kept in the garage for your enjoyment. A washer and dryer are also located in the shared garage, and available for you to use. This rental unit can park ONE car in the driveway. There are so many activities scheduled in Hermosa Beach, and depending on the time of your visit, you may enjoy concerts on the beach, volleyball or surf tournaments, local wildlife, and tons of shopping and fine or casual dining! Although the unit is downstairs and there are stairs in the house, it didn’t bother us as an active family. Communication with Kirk was excellent—he even offered us surfing tips, but unfortunately our busy LA-schedule didn’t allow for it. This was a great spot to stay. I was a guest here for nearly 6 weeks. The place was clean and quiet. Walking distance from anywhere you want to be. Only a few yards from the beach, and Hermosa Pier. I enjoyed my stay so much that I actually extended for a few weeks longer than I had originally booked. Everything met our expectations. The pictures depict the unit very accurately. We had plenty of room to spread out so we did not feel confined considering it is a basement unit. It is well maintained and was spotless upon arrival. We did not incur any problems during our stay and questions we had were addressed promptly. We appreciate the tv channel selection as we like to unwind at night after enjoying the outdoors during the day. The location just cannot be beat. You are a half block to the most beautiful strand and just a few steps further to the pier. Such a treat to walk out to the Pier each morning and evening enjoying the sunrise and sunset. Such a friendly community! Plenty of options to eat all within walking distance. We really enjoyed the Magic and Comedy Club again within walking distance.. such an intimate venue with fantastic talent. We are frequent travelers but typically stay in hotels. This was our first VRBO experience and it was great! We would not hesitate to rent again with Mary Jo! ##### marilinda d. Anytime I had a question or comment, she always replied very quickly and efficiently. Her place is awesome. Plenty of room for guests, you cannot hear a thing outside which is surprising considering how close the dozens of restaurants and bars that are only a 60 second walk away! Fantastic and peaceful views from the rooftop were a bonus. An amazing place to stay, only a 30 second walk to the beach. I look forward to staying here on my future trips to LA. ##### Adam F.
