Driftwood Club - Summerland Beach Oasis / Pet Friendly / Ocean View

"Our stay at the Driftwood Club was great. The location was ideal for our stay in the Santa Barbara area. The house was close to restaurants of all types and gave easy access to the highway without the road noise. And the view.... the view from the front balcony was incredible. The accommodations were clean and as advertised. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The house is older and has it's floor squeaks and slants but that's just character! Our only issue was that the hot water was just warm but with a quick message to our host the problem was identified (Hot water heater was dialed down) and fixed! Thank you for making our stay in the area easy and enjoyable!"
"The Inn at Summer Hill is a quaint little hotel with lots of charm in the city of Summerland. I stayed here while visiting my niece and I would definitely stay here again. The room was like a little cottage, and it had a patio that overlooked the ocean. The staff at the front desk was amazing and went out of their way to comp me breakfast and coffee. I felt very safe as well. The only negatives are the Road Noise and nearby train and there doesn't seem to be a daily cleaning service-if so, they missed my room. "

"This is a very nice two bedroom property. Its safe, clean and comfortable. There is a lovely view of the ocean from the kitchen, dining & living room. Highway 101 is about 3 blocks away, so there is some noise when the windows are open, but its cool on the coast at night and the bedrooms are at the back of the property so we had no trouble sleeping. The kitchen is well stocked there were lots of pots and pans, a coffee maker, toaster, blender and a slow cooker. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of pillows. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the bathroom and beach towels were provided also. There are no stairs going into this unit. You need to step over the bathtub to get into the shower, but their were grab bars. There seems to be another unit down stairs - down the hillside- but we never saw or heard anyone. The houses are somewhat close together, but the neighborhood was quiet the week we were there. Summerland is a small, cute, upscale town. We had a great brunch at the Beach Cafe down the road. Summerland Beach is quite rocky, go up or down the coast. We were quite comfortable here and would reccomend staying here. "

"Lots of room for our group of 4. Spectacular beach view from living room, Property was very conveniently located close to Montecito to the north and Carpenteria to the south. Comfortable beds and roomy bedrooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay."
"We really enjoyed our stay! The area is so lovely and our rental was stocked with everything we could need from wine glasses, beach chairs and towels, bowls, plates and flatwear. The only slight negative is that the room is smaller than the photos suggest. worked for us! "
