"I’ve stayed here several times. Unfortunately, this time I had a room windows that had been screwed shut. This meant a stuff room which was hard to sleep in despite air con and a fan. It also suggested bodge jobs well below what I normally expect. Room was clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and excellent, breakfast good and location excellent. I would not book a room with windows that can’t be opened so I was disappointed."

"Very old building, yet very charming. Many small sitting areas to read and to relax and they are really very cute. The facilities are very clean and well maintained. The staff are very helpful. A great experience for me. "
