Apt had everything I needed TV, ironing board, bath, shower, lift, well equipped kitchen. Decor is nice and calm. If you are going in the summer, they provide only fans. I went in August and it was hot, the fans weren’t enough. The manager of the property was terrible. Requested for change of towels and the manager calls and started screaming at me telling me all sorts of nonsense. Please I repeat do not stay here, the staff and the manager are rude and don’t care. There’s no ounce of customer service and they feel so proud like you’re doing them a favor staying here. We rented two apartments and they “couldn’t” get the AC to work, so we had to rely on fans with temperatures every night exceeding 30C with two elderly and a toddler. We had to extend our stay for health reasons, we couldn’t as there was no one in the “lobby” most of the time, so we had to do a new reservation which was ok as the price per night was the same, but it also meant paying the “mandatory” extra fees twice for each apartment, so we ended up paying four times for services that were never fulfilled.. let alone the nasty odours from the garbage that you smell everytime in and out of the main entrance, the attitude of the “caregiving” personnel, no answers to our emails, and last but not least, we asked to checkout at 8h30am in the morning just for the checkout to take forever.. we missed our train, paid for new train tickets and almost missed our flight. Lack of basic necessities, predatory practices, poor service quality and the list goes on. Noise will affect light sleepers. While there were limited supplies in the apartment a local supermarket was located on the return journey from the tube station, where we bought our own bathroom supplies and washing powder. While some parts of the local area are unsavoury the restaurants and pubs in the “Running Horses” area were walking distance with Pizza Union a stand out. There's a sign that can be barely read to call a number but my cell phone was not yet active in England but luckily I was able to use the phone at the pub next door (great place!) and finally someone came down to give us our keys. Outside this entrance door and the entry hallway had an awful stench since the trash room was just off this hallway and had an exit door just next to the entrance to the building - it was a horrible welcome every day. The apartment itself was ok but it was a bit misleading for 5 people since the couch was just that a couch - not a sleeper couch and it wasn't even very big. One of 2 bathrooms was unusable since at first the sink was clogged (they did come fix it) but mostly because of the horrible musty/mildew smell from missing tile on the tub that was never replaced. We had to keep that door closed as not to get the smell into the entire apartment. The washer/dryer combo door would get stuck closed and once we had to run another cycle to get it open again, the dryer cycle didn't dry great.
