The location and amenities are unbeatable for the price we paid. We stayed in room 606, on the sixth floor. We could actually see a portion of the London Eye from our window!! Close to the tube station, grocery stores, restaurants and walking distance to Kensington Palace, Albert Hall, Science and Natural History museums. Amenities include free laundry (you need to buy washing detergent, fabric softeners etc), gym, jacuzzi and sauna/steam room. It’s great to know there are staff on reception 24/7\. It’s a decent hotel for the price, the kitchenette is a nice thing to have in spendy London and the room is spacious. The bed is fine, pillows could use some work (far too flat). In general, the place could use a little updating but if you aren’t super precious it’s fine. The rooms would benefit from a few small “comforts” - actual hand soap, a dry rack + cloth for dishes, a few more sets of silverware/dishes, etc. - that sort of small stuff would really make it feel more comfy for guests and doesn’t cost much for the hotel to provide. People at reception were very friendly. Room was clean and functional for a family of 3\. The bed was too soft for me, so I slept on the sofa bed, which was better. We had brought sleep masks, as I had read in other reviews that the blinds don't cover the entire window. The room was quite warm, so we had to take the duvets out if the covers, but then it was very comfortable. The hotel was very quiet. The only thing missing in the room was a piece of hand soap; we had to use shower gel instead to wash our hands.
