Do not stay here until the owner has got the vile toilet problem sorted!
I was led to believe that would be staying in a lovely apartment reflected by the online pictures without any notifications regarding broken appliances. Upon arrival, I was presented with an appalling view of the main toilet, connected to the shower, being out of use and filled to the brim with human waste and mould just covered with a piece of paper saying ‘do not use’. The owner is clearly aware of this issue and has failed to get it sorted which persists to be an emergency health and safety issue. Myself and my family were unable to use the shower facilities for 3 days with myself undergoing surgery. We had nowhere else to stay and due to the severity of my surgery, last minute changes weren’t allowed due to the cancellation policy and very limited time as I was due in hospital early the next day.
Considering COVID is a current global pandemic, this property should not be allowed to take any further bookings as it is absolutely disgraceful what myself and my family had to witness, especially during such a stressful time.
The owner was notified instantly and failed to respond until over 24 hours later with a poor resolution of ‘use the other toilet’ the service was absolutely shocking, left late and delayed receiving any vital information followed by no resolutions to severe persisting issue for the entire duration of our stay.
I shall be taking this this further, do not stay here!!
