"Excellent customer service within the team at Oyster, housekeeping are brilliant, fabulous fresh and clean throughout, views are stunning, Beach is beautiful. Locals are very friendly.Lobster Pot is a must, food is delicious and the staff are great. Glen Yr Afon is more than expected with all those home from home touches, beds are so comfy, upstairs living is easy to get used to, with those amazing views and landscapes to look at constantly, whilst sat on the balcony or on the sofas. Some very fond memories made. The beach at sunrise is so calming and so magical at sunset. Glen Yr Afron - Church Bay is by far one of the best places ( in our view) we have been to and explored on the island, and we have been to some beautiful places on this fabulous island. With walks ,beaches, restaurant, local pub on your doorstep or a balcony to sit on and watch nature at its best. We would recommend this place. We have allready booked a return trip."

"We had an enjoyable stay in this spacious, modern and clean self-catering accommodation. It is set in a wonderfully rural location, with some fantastic coastal walks right from the doorstep. The beach is just a short stroll away and has a mix of sand and stones. The accommodation was generally clean, tidy and well equipped. However, the double bed was very soft, and one of the sofas was also very soft and sloped noticeably, keep in mind if you suffer with your back. The location is very peaceful, but it is worth being aware that there are no pubs, shops or restaurants within walking distance (apart from the cafe & restaurant at Church Bay, which would take about 20-25 mins long the cliff top coastal path), so a car is essential if you want to go out for meals or pick up supplies. Would recommend Church Bay for The Lobster Pot restaurant and Wavecrest Cafe. The food van at Church Bay Camp Site provided a nice breakfast and coffee. Highly recommend a drive to The Ring at Rhosgoch for dinner, we had a wonderful meal here. A few practical things could also be improved. The clothes airer was very small, making it difficult to dry beach towels or washing. Three toilet rolls and five dishwasher tablets felt a little tight for the length of our stay and the price paid, and only a small amount of tea and coffee was provided. A kitchen roll would also have been useful. That said, we appreciated the other items included in the welcome pack. Overall, we had a lovely stay and particularly enjoyed the peaceful rural setting, easy access to the coast and beautiful walks from the property. With a few small improvements, this would be an excellent place to stay."

"We arrived earlier than anticipated and had no problem with the key code and entry. The property was very clean and perfect for five middle aged blokes who wanted to do some fishing and sit around the barbecue and play a few tunes on the guitars in the evening. Great location, great facilities and we couldn't have asked for more. From booking the week away I found the whole experience flawless. We all had a great time. "I would have given the property 5 stars but a couple of things let it down. The bins (all4) in the kitchen had not been emptied, the small oven was dirty, as was some of the children’s plastic cups/plates. I did make the Hosts aware and they said the cleaners would be spoken to. There is no grill which would have been nice for cooking bacon in a morning and I would have liked a teapot. The rugs in the two bigger bedrooms were a slip hazard. The property was lovely, with beautiful sea views and the beds were very comfortable. The two sitting rooms, both with tv’s, was great and all the showers were brilliant. The hot tub was so relaxing and the sunsets amazing."

"Beautiful cottage, excellent location, very spacious and clean.Needs some TLC, just minor things getting rusty like the brackets holding the shelves up in bathrooms and rusty mirror in upstairs bathroom. Shower in upstairs bathroom needs updating, you either get burnt or you have ice cold shower. Downstairs shower works great. One thing i would change for sure is the carpet in the downstairs bedroom absolutely stinks. Needs ripping up and wood floor putting down, especially as this is a dog friendly cottage.Dont let this put you off though this cottage really is beautiful and spacious. Perfect spot if travelling to ireland on the ferry, the port is a 10 minute drive."

"We had a lovely holiday. The property is in a scenic, quiet location. We had views of the sheep, goats & chickens from the living area. The property is of a lovely design, very clean and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and the open plan works well. It is very spacious. The only slight issue for us was the very patchy wi-fi which made TV streaming difficult at times. We would definitely choose this property again."
