Head to Bull Bay Golf Club and Church Bay—just two of the sights around Llanfechell.

View across sheep grazing land towards farms on the Llanfechell-Mynydd Mechell road The two farms are Bwchanan (centre) and Tyddyn y waen (homestead of the marshy land) on the right. In the 18thC, Bwchanan was the seat of John Bulkeley, the chief agent of the Bulkeleys of Baron Hill, Beaumaris. His wife, Bridget, was a sister to two Viscounts. William Bulkeley, the squire and diarist of Brynddu, was involved in a dispute with the Bulkeleys of Bwchanan in the 1730s, over seats at Llanfachell church, each side more than once throwing the seats of the other out of the door.
