The walk from the train station was \~15mins through town and it is about the same distance to the waterfront park area. The staff was friendly and efficient, the place runs like clockwork and is miraculously clean. A nice lounge area with coffee and tea and comfortable couches provides an opportunity to meet fellow guests. A beautiful garden with fruit trees and flowers is a peaceful retreat. The proprietor is responsive to any questions and provides a detailed info packet with handy QR codes for every eventuality. We hope to return soon. TJ was so accommodating and helpful for our 1 night stay. Our time at the BB and Holyhead was way too short, as we were just staying for 1 night before a morning ferry ride. The food is great and the place was very clean. We had a good nights sleep there before heading to Holyhead for the ferry the next morning. If you are a light sleeper I would say the walls are bit thin but it wouldn’t stop us coming back. The evening food was also excellent and is the best Vietnamese food we’ve had in an extremely long time! TJ (the owner/host) was super friendly and make sure we had everything we needed. Room and bathroom were clean and super tidy. The beds were super comfortable and the room super cozy. Very accomodating with free cold breakfast and a lounge area with one drink (soda, beer, wine, coffee, tea) free of charge and biscuits/cookies. Can't recomend enough.
