Sandy Feet Retreat on LBJ - Pool, Hot Tub, Kayaks

"Our stay was amazing! House is absolutely beautiful. The space in the kitchen is to die for if you love cooking. All the dishes were in good condition. At times rentals have very used pots and pans that stick and make clean a task. Ohhhhh can't forget to mention the fridge space!! 2 mini fridges and a second full size fridge/frezzer in the laundry room. You will not have to worry about space to keep things cold.The outside 10x10 pool was clean, the furniture around the pool was comfortable, shade umbrellas kept us cool. The water donw at the river was a sight to see from the back porch. Loved all the games that were available to play. Water pressure in the shower was amazing. Everything was wonderful will definitely return."

"Nicole was very easy to communicate with and the house was very generously supplied indoor and outdoors. The grandkids loved the bunk beds, little nooks with their own light! The air conditioning kept the house nice and cool. My granddaughter loved the toys that were there to play with. Plenty of room for everyone! They loved the shallow part of the river once they got to the sandy bottom! An assortment of river toys too!"

"The house was perfect for our gathering of 8 adults. The natural light is great and the home feels very clean! The beds were very comfortable and we had everything that we needed! Another review said to bring pool towels and we were glad we did since there were only 2 provided (totally fine, just nice to know). Communication was great and we had no issues. We would 100% recommend and would stay again in the future!"

"We loved the house. The pool is tiny but it worked well for our grandchildren who are 7 & under. We bought a pop up canopy and angled it over the pool corner for afternoon shade and it worked well. I appreciated all the cleaning supplies, storage containers for left overs & plentiful dishware. The second refrigerator in the garage was awesome too. The beds were comfortable and the decor was tasteful and elegant. There are pool towels - we didn’t find them until the last day. They are in a closet near the stairs. It was great to have an HEB just 5min away. We toured the Longhorn Caverns on Saturday and it was fun and fascinating (could have worn shorts because it wasn’t as cold as we thought it would be in the caves in July). The house looked neat and clean on our arrival. I appreciated the vacuum cleaner plugged in and ready for use. I rated cleanliness as a 4 and not 5 because the floors left our bare feet black which caused concern with young kids and a white couch. And the yard had a lot of dog poop and we did not have any pets with us. I notified the host and just kept the kids out of the grass. The house could benefit from a washable rug at the back door. All-in-all, we enjoyed the house and would return."
