"The perfect location to explore North Wales from, close to Conwy and Snowdonia. Zipworld is worth a visit but pricey, Conwy for its castle walls and crabbing, and Snowdon if walking or photograph is your thing. There is so much to see and do we will have to go back again to finish it all off. The property is detached and surrounded by beautiful farm land up on a hillside with stunning views, a really lovely setting. Facilities are good and the hosts are nearby should you need them. "The house is warm and comfortable, perfect if the Welsh weather is not playing ball! The location is perfect - both in terms of the wonderful views but also for visiting the many local attractions. During our week’s stay in April we visited the Zipworlds at Betws-y-coed and Penrhyn Quarry as well as the steam train at Blaenau Ffestiniog and Conwy castle. All within 15-35 minutes drive. Even South Stack at the far end of Anglesey was only an hour away. Bodnant gardens National Trust is only 5...

Beautiful Snowdonia Chalet in North Wales

"We booked very last minute and Karen couldn’t have been more helpful! We needed a base near Snowdon and this is a 15 minute drive away. The site itself is just what you’d hope : a bar ( Friday night was bingo!), a lovely river, the grounds beautifully kept and a well stocked shop with all sorts from loo roll to jewellery! The chalet was spotless, very well equipped and incredibly comfortable, with lovely touches that help to create that home from home feel. Parking was easy in September, we were...

Lovely cottage in Snowdonia, private hot tub, by mountains & award winning beach
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (270)
"We loved our time here. Although the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed wonderful walks on the beach - particularly crossing the bridge to Barmouth. The hills behind the house are beautiful too, and the whole area is just lovely. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the novelty of having a record player - so much so that we’ve come home and bought one! I left something behind and Eloise kindly offered to post it back to me too. We’d definitely return!"
