"The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and we felt at home right away. There was plenty of space for 3 generations of family and we loved the hot tub. No queues for bathrooms with 3 showers and 4 toilets in the property! Would recommend for a large family group."

"A stunning properly set in it's own valley down a track and away from everything. Woke up each morning to the company of cows peering over the fence. Beautiful natural gardens with lovely seating and eating spots. Good pubs and restaurants not too far away and lovely beaches one a short drive. Beth is a great host with good local knowledge and stories."

"We had a very enjoyable Christmas at Pleasant Vale. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the house was nice and warm and the kitchen had everything I needed to prepare Christmas dinner for the five of us. View from the large picture window was lovely and we enjoyed watching the horses in the adjoining fields ."

"This is a lovely place to stay. The house is just as good as you see in the pictures. Morning sunlight streams through the windows. The small balcony is beautiful for breakfast. We cycle and run. "We have stayed in Penny's lovely properties in Trewent Park many times, and always have a fabulous stay. Le Chalet is lovely - clean, comfortable and well-equipped and worked perfectly for our family.
