I loved the location of the property. It's a beautiful historic building but I found the room a bit warm, windows didn't open to allow for fresh air and the mattress was uncomfortable (too firm and sagged). Otherwise the staff were very kind and efficient, the location by the beach was amazing with easy access to train and many sites.

Central location on promenade great for the town & tourist activities. Slightly dated bedroom but very clean & well maintained. We had a side sea view which was lovely. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Dinner & drinks in the bar were good too, enjoyed sitting on the terrace which was popular due to the views. Would stay again.

The room was lovely and spacious with places to relax. We loved the pool and the spa tub and the gym is well equipped. We ate at the hotel at night and the food was delicious, reasonably priced and service from all the staff was excellent too, we'll be back!

Lovely sea view from the room. Very spacious overall. The staff was very helpful. It is a dated hotel but well kept. It has a dy sauna, a wet sauna, a jacuzzi, a large pool and gym facilities which were maintianed. Decent breakfast. To note, the car park is really small and it is available on a first come, first served basis which isn't explicit.

We stayed at the Imperial Hotel for 4 nights, Booked a double room with a view (room 208) which was a sea view,big double windows for the view, The bathroom was huge with 2 more double windows bed was really comfy, Used the swimming pool a couple of times the whole pool was 4ft 6in deep which was a good thing if you are not a confident swimmer, My sister used the gym daily (not for me )Breakfast was brilliant plenty of choice ie cereal, cooked, basically what ever you want, waitress brings you tea or coffee, the seating at the front was overlooking the sea, The position of the Hotel was great, 5 min to the pier,2 min to the shops and the railway was only 5 min away,A few places needed a bit of TLC but overall a good hotel, would stay again.
