There are 3 reason for the lower rating. The main one was the noise. The apartment overlooks the cavern which is surrounded by nightclubs. The room aren’t soundproof so you can hear all the music from the club/pubs up to closing (2am). This made it impossible to sleep until 2am. If you aren’t looking to go out late in Liverpool then this will be an issue. The second issue was there was no phone signal in the room - so I was unable to make mobile calls. Thirdly, the WiFi was very poor. The room did look like the photos. They were fairly clean and tidy. The listing is false in terms of the free soap etc these where not provided. The apartment is centrally located and all staff were very pleasant. Sadly, the main issue is the noise otherwise I would have gave a 4/5. This needs to be mentioned on the listing!

The bed was very comfortable, and the location is brilliant for exploring the city. However the room was damaged and not very clean and weathered. Large knife was on a low shelf readily accessible to any small child.
