There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops nearby, and the Albert Docks and Liverpool One are just a ten minute walk away. The only two issues were I asked that the heating be on before we arrived ( but it was not ) so the place took a couple of hours to warm up and the apartment was locked ( check in said it would be unlocked ) so we had to wait for 15 minutes until someone came with a key. Our original accommodation was unavailable due to a water leak but we got no notice from the hotel, who had to scramble to get us accommodation in the main hotel for 1 night and then in an alternative apartment for 2 nights. It broke our stay and was very inconvenient. Unfortunately the noise levels in both alternate places was appalling. Loud music from the local, pubs blaring until 3am in the morning.
