The cottage was so quaint, great welcome pack with everything you need with a homely feel. Definitely will be returning with my dogs, ideal location for walking with a friendly pub within walking distance. Great communication with clear instructions, before arriving and after. Ian kindly contacted within a hour of leaving as i had forgotten something in the cottage.

The property is very well located on a hill above Bakewell. Parking for a medium sized car on site is a bonus. Bakewell is a busy town, full of tourists. Ate at Charleston’s, do not recommend. Everything was great, we enjoyed our 3 nights at Bakewell

Great base for walking, all facilities as expected, heating very easy to operate and the most stunning view.

Quaint perfect little cottage in the heart of Castleton

Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back!

There's a petrol station not far. But definitely need a car

Really good accommodation in great location. Milk, bread and other things in the fridge. Easy check-in. Very pleased

It was faultless. Warm and clean and everything you need for a stay as close as you can get to Alton Towers. Space to park and leave your car. 2-3 minutes walk to the turnstiles at Alton towers. Highly recommend the place.

Very cute little cottage. It is very clean, has all the comforts of home but away from home. We didn’t expect all the little extras that make our holiday perfect such as tea, coffee, milk and even biscuits! There is everything you need in the kitchen if you want to cook! It is conveniently situated in the village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Location is also near Monsal trail for walking and cycling along all the beautiful dales by the river Rye. I am very glad I chose this cottage for our...

Very quiet location. Peaceful outlook.

The accommodation was very high spec and lovely. Situated a 10 minute walk into town with supermarkets near by. Check in was very easy and ready to park too. Plenty of scenery to look at in the area too.

Ideal location for walking in the national park

Cottage was very clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living area. Hot tub was wonderful with amazing views - the towels, sliders and robes were a nice touch. Would highly recommend

Great location, quiet area, a nice place to stay The bedrooms were comfortable with quality linen and blackout curtains The living room was large enough room for 4 The kitchen and bathroom has everything you need for your stay

Lovely cottage and well equipped.

Thoroughly recommended

Excellent property Will definitely return

Lovely area. Very scenic. Very old buildings so the decor reflects this, although nice modern bathroom & well-equiped kitchen. I enjoyed the pool - small but lovely & warm. Would stay here again.
