From entrance to exit this has been one of my favourite places I have stayed in. Booked on short notice as I was travelling and started getting a bit tired driving so pulled over and looked for something local to where I was. A very nice hotel with clean cosy rooms. Breakfast was excellent with local farm products but portions are small. Would definitely recommend it

Our stay from start to finish was excellent , very clean rooms well done house keepers , the reception staff where very helpful , and the breakfast selection , had something for everyone .

Service charge of 10% is a bit high on the restaurant bill.

Quiet village setting. Well maintained property and Only a short drive from Northampton.

I book The Poplars same time every year to attend an event locally. It’s always comfortable, clean and well priced. Above all you couldn’t ask for more helpful and friendly staff.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.🙂

Great staff very helpful throughout all the way from checking in to leaving the hotel they were very kind regardless of our requests. Room was also very clean and had all that we needed whilst being spacious. Would also highly recommend the breakfast which was very delicious!

Good location and hotel has been refreshed

Everything was clean the staff were very friendly and pleasant Breakfast was delicious the bar staff were also staff were great I had a lovely time at the Marston inn i would definitely visit again

Great stay. Room was huge family room, comfy beds and clean. We ate in hotel restaurant and food was tasty and service was good at dinner and breakfast next morning.

Decent room, perhaps a bit of noise from guests (Friday night) but spacious and comfortable room. Reasonably priced. Pub meal was on point and better than it was previously. Staff were great. Parking was fine though not many spaces if arriving at a busy time.

I can sum up the hotel in the way they treated my children, who have special needs. They went out of their way to accommodate any reasonable adjustments I'd requested. Fantastic - and thank you, particularly the staff with whom we had contact.

A good hotel and steady price

What is not to like. Beautiful, peaceful setting, lovely rooms,great food - liver and bacon to die for- friendly engaging staff. The breakfast box is a bonus. It means you have a great selection of cereal, fruit, pastries which can be grazed upon during the day. Even fresh milk and fruit juice
