"A great cottage, comfortable, very spacious, spotless, a lovely big fully enclosed garden was a bonus! It’s such a good area, walking distance to beach and parkland. And a couple of good food pubs nearby."

"We loved the welcome pack very thoughtful it was very homely, the kitchen very well equipped great appliances if needing washer dishwasher, the bay has a lovely village feel the pub had great choice of menu the beach is a short walk away…. We loved it that much we’ve booked to come again in feb 23"

"Lovely little property, very clean. It had everything we needed and was ideally positioned for us to explore Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Flamborough. The kids loved their time there, feeding the ducks outside of the property went down a treat. "

"We stayed at the Nest 8 years ago and remembered it as a nice comfortable stay, which is why we decided to go back. However, this time we were quite disappointed. On the plus side - it was very clean and the shower was very good, the views of the bay were lovely but….. The comfortable sofa that was there 8 years ago and still shown in the advertised pictures has been replaced with a very uncomfortable futon type couch with some very flat cushions - either the photos need updating or something...

"I don’t no why I’ve seen poor reviews as Dave really try’s hard to make your stay great.. the position of the B&B is great and Central, it’s homely not fancy but we paid very little to stay here and had a huge quality breakfast. We would definitely stay again, don’t pay very little and expect 4/5 star. "

"I had a good couple of nights here. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I was upgraded to a double from a single room. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was tasty. It is tucked away in a pretty little square of Hull centre, you’ll feel that you are somewhere else! No offence to Hull, I am from here and do love it but the town centre is not the prettiest! Well worth the money."

"We'd had a bad experience with another hotel requiring us to move at short notice. The service at here was infinitely better. Comfy spacious rooms with everything you'd ask for. Staff were friendly and the food was very good. Breakfast was brilliant and parking availability couldnt be better. Very pleased we stayed here and thank you for having us."

"We found the hotel to be very well placed for bars and restaurants and in a lovely setting overlooking the marina.The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.The room was very nice but the bathroom could benefit from an update,however was spotless.very good value for money.would definitely stay again."
