Stunning views from this beautiful updated home overlooking the fields of green, farms with sheep and cattle, the Burren and the Atlantic. Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away. Fortunately they provided some basic foods in refrigerator so we could make our own breakfast…it was a lovely surprise and I was most grateful! The house itself is so comfortable…beautifully appointed…personally I loved the tub, the fireplace and the views! It is very close to Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Thank you Atlantic Rose Cottage…it was a pleasure 🌹
Lovely! Description of property was spot on. Clean, appointed very nicely with everything you could possibly need (including a washer and dryer.) Wonderful location with a beautiful ocean view and very close to Doolin town. This stay was a lifelong Irish dream come true! Can't wait to visit and stay with you again soon!
We had a lovely stay at Atlantic Rose Cottage which sits high on hill with views down to the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast provisions provided to us on arrival. A lovely surprise. A highlight was dinner at Russels just down the road. This is an excellent base for the Cliffs of Moher.
We booked the cottage in order to attend Doolin Folk Festival. The views from the cottage were amazing. The cottage was fabulous except that the oven didn't work properly. We also had problems with one of the showers but this was sorted promptly by the very helpful Property Manager.
We loved our stay. The house was clean, bright and cozy. The location was incredible. We wanted quiet, remote but easily accessible. This was it.
Every morning, we were greeted by the beautiful view of the Atlantic and every evening, we saw amazing sunsets. Go out in the evening and you will see stars like you've never seen before!
There was a welcome gift of smoked salmon, crackers, tasty bread and other items. It was wonderful have while watching the sun set.
Thank you so much!
10, 10 a perfect score of 10. The view was better than the photos. The loved the kitchen set up and the cottage feel. Everything down to the bunny coffee mugs to wall decorating was thoughtful.
