The building is a lot better on the inside than the outside(decor wise)breakfast was good with lovely views from 8th floor restaurant. Pool area all good and staff friendly and helpful. Will probably use again in the future.

This hotel is in a very good location. Close to Carcavelos Beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket. Within walking distance of train station, buses and taxi rank close by. The hotel staff are friendly and most helpful. The pool area is well cared for, cleaned every day. The hotel is clean and cared for, the maintanence man arrived promptly for any queries. The breakfast room has wonderful views, food very good, plenty of choice. It is so disappointing the hotel does not serve dinner and we had to leave the hotel to purchase coffee, tea and any other drinks, snacks and food as snack bar not open all the time. No drinks tray and kettle in the room as other countries do, fridge in room. For this reason I feel a 4* rating is not appropriate on tourist rating. I would happily stay at Carcavelos Beach Hotel again.

The room was as clean as you could hope for, but like the rest of the hotel, it is NOT 4* and it really needs to be “freshened up” as it is very run down. Great breakfast with fantastic view!

The hotel is located walking distance to the beach.it is an older style hotel with modern updates that adds character. Good breakfast, and their best asset is the staff. They love their guest to have the best time possible. Special thanks to the staff for all there help. Make sure when using airport shuttle, get to the airport 2 to 3 hours before an international flight.

The hotel was a short walk from the beach, and has a lot of nearby restaurants to chose from. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was good. The swimming pool was great! I had a lovely relaxing time staying here.
