  • I took this in March in Sintra, Portugal! It's at the fairy tale castle Pena Palace :). This is one of the lovely close-up views. It's is a Romanticist castle that stands on the top of a hill in the Sintra Mountains. And undoubtedly one of the most iconic places in Portugal. And a dream come true to visit it! It is a national monument and constitutes one of the major expressions of 19th-century Romanticism in the world. The palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Antonio and Maria were always prompt to answer any questions. Great recommendation on the local restaurant Lagarica...YUM! The property we stayed in was spacious and clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. The home is about a 10 min Uber from downtown, but the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing with a couple small stores to grab groceries if you just want to hang out and chill. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Phenomenal for families

Our stay at Sea'Ya was phenomenal. Communication pre-arrival was excellent and check-in was smooth. Our hosts, Maria and Antonio, thoughtfully put out toys for the children (3 year old and 6 months old) already, so they went straight to play. What a welcome! The apartments are beautifully furnished, have all the amenities you might need, and work just so well for young families. Whatever we needed, Maria and Antonio were only ever a WhatsApp message away. From helping us to find a place to buy formula to quickly replacing a broken BBQ (5 mins!), we felt thoroughly looked after. We absolutely loved our stay at Sea'Ya. This is one to come back to!

6 stars!!!

6 stars if I could! An amazing, newly totally renevated townhome that has amazing details. The only thing better than the home we're the hospitality and thoughtful consideration of the hosts. The attention to detail is without equal and our children ages 6 and 1 were in heaven with the toys to play with and futbol in the courtyard. We only wish we could've stayed longer than one weekend.

Nette Anlage, allerdings war die Fewo bei Anreise nur mittelmäßig gereinigt, Ofendichtung defekt, Gefrierschrank funktionierte nicht korrekt, WC-Spülung lief dauerhaft, während des Aufenthalts fiel der Geschirrspüler aus. Die Instandsetzung und Rückmeldung auf die Hinweise war langsam. Insgesamt noch ok.

The Surf houses are great. we stayed in two bedroom Villa and had a great time. The host is great and he was always one call away to help us with anything that we needed. The area is beautiful and we a little short ride you can get to many restaurants and Ocean! There is a store just by the house which we got all of our groceries and few step from there you can find a great restaurant with delicious local foods. The location and people are geat! We loved our stay so much that we are planning to come back again!

Beautiful house with amazing hosts

Beautiful house with the most welcoming hosts you could think of. Since we were traveling with our 1.5 years old son, Maria and Antonio took care of everything - from the baby bed, cutleries, dishes to age-appropriate toys, simply amazing! The house itself is furnished in a very comforting and beautiful style, the spacious terrace wonderful to sit. Renting a car or e-bike (Maria and Antonio will arrange everything) is highly recommended to get around, since the beach and Cascais center are not in walking distance. Nonetheless, a nice Portuguese restaurant and a small shop are just around the corner, delicious fresh bread will be delivered every morning. Pure recommendation!

Proper address: Rua Palmeira Around the corner from Via Charneca. Lovely condo-style units In a quiet neighborhood near a famous surfing beach (15m drive), many restaurants within a short drive, small store 100m away on Charneca and one bar/restaurant within walking distance (we didn’t try it). The units are bright and new and spacious, designed and furnished in a cheerful style, very comfortable.
