The fantastic aeolian sea is just 2 km far from the house. As you walk through the entrance you can breathe the scent of flowering trees and the charming atmosphere of total peace and relaxation. The villa is surrounded by lush plants and flowers; it is situated on a hill, the port of Lipari, the fortress that surrounds the ancient city and the island of Vulcano. On clear days you can even see Etna Volcano on the mainland! There is a large car park. The outdoor areas of the property are furnished with comfortable chairs, tables and chairs to enjoy the magical view of the island. There is also a portable barbecue and an outdoor shower with hot water. The interior of the villa is furnished with antiques furniture in typical and polished Sicilian taste, paying attention to the comfort and well-being to its guests. On the ground floor there is a large living room with a sofa, a fireplace (not in use), a dining area and a full-equipped kitchen. The living room is furnished with an elegant bookcase and ancient pottery; very notable the terracotta floor with sicilian majolica. This room leads to a patio overlooking the mountain side, furnished with a table, chairs and benches. The second bedroom "Emma" is for 2 adults and 1 child (max 8 years old). It has a double bed and a child bed, a bathroom with shower, walk-in closet, safe deposit box, air conditioning and ceiling fans. This room leads to a covered terrace with sea view. "Gemma" for up 2 people: it has a double bed, private bathroom with shower, air conditioning and ceiling fans. The two sides of the terrace. "Casa Nostra" is Sicilian hospitality. After you get over the windy, steep road up to this gorgeous house, you won't want to leave. The furnishings are Italian/Mediterranean in white, blues and yellows. Elegant but livable. Kitchen well equipped, everything is spotless. The views will have you glued to the patios, wine glass in hand. Many thoughtful touches like a welcome basket, local olive oil, vinegar and salts and lots of candles to burn. Plenty of storage space, beautiful gardens all around. Local caretaker doesn't speak English but is a lovely, warm person who manages to communicate with those like us who have limited Italian speaking skills. Dalle fotografie e dalle descrizioni avevo aspettative molto alte ma la realtà le ha ampiamente superate. La casa era pulitissima ed in ordine sia all'interno che all'esterno. Ogni camera da letto ha un ingresso proprio in modo che gli ospiti possano essere indipendenti. La cucina è attrezzatissima per ogni esigenza e la zona giorno molto accogliente e spaziosa. All'esterno si apre un ampio patio con tavolo da pranzo e divani circondato da un lussureggiante giardino con vista mozzafiato su Lipari e sull'isola di Vulcano. Gli interni sono spaziosi elegantemente arredati e pulitissimi. La cucina super attrezzata, il Giardino ampio con tanto verde e prato all'inglese. La villa dista dal centro circa 2 km, ma la casa è dotata di auto e scooter. Lipari e' la più vivibile delle 7 isole, mare ,escursioni, cultura, ristoranti e bar carini per l'aperitivo. Il terrazzamento verdeggiante si affaccia anche sull'isola di Vulcano. Per combinazione in quei giorni abbiamo visto anche l'Etna. Meraviglioso. Per non parlare della casa che non è solo bella ed elegante, ma comoda e superacceriorata di ogni comodità, sembra di essere a casa propria. e... con il materasso piu' comodo della mia vita, che non è poco, per una casa non tua. La villa ha una vista meravigliosa, è situata a pochi minuti dal centro abitato e dotata di tutti i comfort necessari. Abbiamo trovato l'immobile pulitissimo, il giardino in ordine e un'utilissima zona barbeque. La casa si sviluppa su due piani, al primo piano una grande zona living con cucina a vista e soggiorno (con tv), tre camere da letto molto ampie con tre bagni e la lavanderia (utilissima soprattutto in presenza di bambini); al piano superiore c'è un'altra ampia camera da letto con bagno e affaccio su un terrazzo con vista mozzafiato. In due stanze sono presenti letti adatti ai bambini piccoli. Il proprietario ci ha fornito tutte le informazioni necessarie sia sull'abitazione, sia sull'isola (dove fare la spesa, dove trovare il pesce fresco, dove cenare, dove provare i famosi arancini siciliani) e ci ha lasciato a disposizione dei libri utilissimi a scoprire la costa dell'isola ed anche l'entroterra. Lipari è vicinissima a Vulcano (imperdibile il pane cunzato di Alfredo) dove siamo stati a fare i fanghi ed è un comodo punto di partenza per visitare tutte le isole eolie. E' presente un pronto soccorso (non si sa mai) ed è possibile trovare un buon servizio taxi. Consiglio il ristorante E pulera (pesce freschissimo). Consiglio assolutamente questo immobile. Le foto non le rendono giustizia. Ogni mattina, aprendo le imposte, venivamo inondati di luce senza sapere se riservare il primo sguardo all'Etna che fa capolino in lontananza o al porto di Lipari con le mille gradazioni di blu dell'acqua che lo bagna, o se ringraziare subito per l'incanto del prato con l'erba curatissima e la moltitudine di palme, ulivi, limoni, fichi, fichi d'india, peschi che abbracciano la villa da tutti i lati. Gli interni sono curatissimi fin nei minimi particolari con lo splendido soggiorno e il portico contiguo ad accogliere tutti noi al mattino e alla sera. La pulizia dell'intera struttura è ineccepibile. La consiglio. La straconsiglio.
