Located in Libin this vintage holiday home can accommodate 14 people in its 6 bedrooms, ideal for a family with kids this house has a beautiful garden. The house is just a stone's throw away from the forest, while the town center and general supplies are 3 km and 8 km respectively. You could also visit the Euro Space Center (10km), to Redu, the famous book village (13km) and to the medieval town of Bouillon (30km). Travel back in time, to the early twentieth century, in this majestic and charming house. The house comes equipped with central heating and fireplace to keep you comfortable in winters. A fully equipped kitchen, a large living room and a dining table for 14 people can accommodate a large family in one place and make every moment memorable.

Highly recommended. We spent 10 days at the Dependences der Roumont with the extended family (13 persons). We had a great time. The house is very spacious and the host is very welcoming. Hiking trails start right behind the house. The garden has swings for the kids in an enclosed garden. Weather permitting we had a nice time BBQ in the yard and making a fire in the fire pit.

The house is very clean and wel located and the owner is very sweet and friendly. So all in all a good stay. Tha variable costs are exagerated in my honest opinion. The cost of the heating is calculated upon the price of their last purchase of oil but no one who can check this, this makes that we paid 30%(!) more per liter of fuel than if we had ordered it thereon the spot. The calculation itself of a burner which uses 7.5 l/h is also exagereated and is not explained on the website before booking. 200€ for cleaning when we left the house in very good condition and very clean is also something I cannot understand. Or cost for heating is 1/4 of the total cost which is just crazy. This left us with a little bittersweet aftertaste..

Een heel bijzonder onderkomen waar we met 3 gezinnen met kinderen én grootouders een heerlijk weekend hadden, met de speeltuin en zandbak op de zonnige dag en de openhaard en voetbaltafel op de regenachtige dagen. De kabouterwandeling in de buurt was perfect voor onze peuters en kleuters (NB denk aan de eenpersoonsbeddengoeden voor alle bedden!)

Vriendelijk onthaal. Impressionant gebouw met alle faciliteiten. Wanneer we toekwamen hadden we wel wat moeite om het huis te vinden omdat er niet de minste straatverlichting is en het huis is een beetje in de diepte. De dame heeft ons wel geholpen. Wat betreft het adres, misschien goed te melden dat we op de N40 zijn dat beter gekend is door GPS.

We hebben een fantastisch gezellig weekend gehad in dit zeer schone verblijf. Alles was erg netjes en schoon. Enige minpuntje was dat het rooster van de haard niet meer goed is. Daardoor komt er veel rook de kamer binnen als je de haard wilt aanmaken.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door de eigenares. De woning was zeer netjes bij aankomst. Het huis en omgeving waren perfect voor onze familie, ook voor de jonge kleinkinderen. Zeer mooie streek met veel wandelmogelijkheden en goed gelegen voor bezoek aan o.a. Bouillon en Redu. Correcte afhandeling van de waarborg. Top verblijf.

Wij zijn goed ontvangen door mevrouw (keuze taal Frans of Engels) Prachtige en ruime accommodatie met de nodige voorzieningen. Zeer ruime binnentuin en grote afgemaakte speelweide. Men bevindt zich direct in het aanpalende bos en in de streek is er veel te bezoeken zowel voor volwassenen en kinderen.

We werden heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw die ons meteen wegwijs maakte in het huis en alle voorzieningen. De regels voor het sorteren van het afval zijn behoorlijk streng, maar correct. Het domein is prachtig, en hoewel langs een weg gelegen is het er heel rustig. Het huis is in een perfecte staat, en het is kraaknet. Niets op aan te merken. De kamers zijn ruim en van alle comfort voorzien. Heel goede matrassen. In de keuken is er alles wat nodig is. We maakten gebruik van de haard. 15€ coor een (grote) mand hout. We gebruikten iets meer dan een halve mand en betaalden 9€. In afscheid werden de meters in ons bijzijn gecontroleerd en in een wip wisten we hoeveel er van de borg zou gaan voor water, verwarming, electriciteit, hout, toeristentaks en eindschoonmaak. Geen onverwachte en onaangename verrassingen dus. Top verblijf, leuke locatie.

We hebben met vier volwassenen en negen kinderen (0-11 jaar) een heerlijke week gehad in dit prachtige grote huis. Het weer werkte niet echt mee, maar het huis was groot genoeg om ons prima te vermaken. De zandbak (waarvoor een grote tas vol speelgoed beschikbaar was) werd enthousiast gebruikt. We hebben een vuurtje gemaakt op de gezellige vuurplaats en verschillende keren gebarbecued. Ook het mooie tafelvoetbalspel (met balletjes) hebben we regelmatig gebruikt. Doordat het huis zo ruim is, heb je geen last van elkaar en heeft iedereen heerlijk geslapen in de ruime bedden. Voor alle bedden is overigens eenpersoons beddengoed nodig. De kinderen speelden heerlijk in de omheinde binnentuin. Daar mochten we overigens niet voetballen, maar buiten de omheining was daarvoor ruimte genoeg. De huiseigenaar was zelfs zo vriendelijk om een mooi rechthoekig veld voor ons te maaien, zodat we konden voetballen en trefballen. Een paar kleine nadeeltjes: de meeste badkamers kunnen niet op slot, en er zijn nergens handdoekhaakjes. Het (bron)water dat uit de kraan komt, kan gedronken worden, maar is niet lekker. Wij zijn halverwege de week overgestapt op flessenwater. Wel fijn: de goed toegeruste keuken (zelfs met een hand- en een staafmixer), de beschikbaarheid van wasmachine en droger, de stijlvolle inrichting en de vriendelijke, goed Engels sprekende eigenares. Absoluut een aanrader!
