"i cannot say that our check out experience went smoothly after an excessively long wait due to a mistake by the staff at the check in who did not register our security deposit as being paid. this resulted in me having to wait over half an hour in order for their accounts to confirm it was paid. however, after all that i still had to pay for incidentals despite the fact the authorization was confirmed. to cut a long story short incompetence which the guest had to pay for in time and frustration "

"The girl at front was super helpful. Breakfast was ok. Room was spacious and quiet but very dark due to not enough light. Water temperature is tricky as hot water is super hot. You need to learn to get the right amount of hot and cold water. Shower door closed beers only half as most European showers are. Water pressure is super strong and the entire floor gets wet in the bathroom. No facial tissue box 😒"

"Noise , unfortunately the hotel was incredibly noisy until 5am due to a school party! This is not the first time this has been a big problem. At 6am the cleaners started and it felt like they were actually in my room. I have stayed at the Arion several times before in the past few years and not had a problem but this year it is unacceptable. Such a shame."

"Bedding wasnt changed in the whole 3 days we were there, understand the eco side of this but for a "LUX" grecotel, it's not ideal. The ventilation in the bathroom was none existent meaning black mould formed on the walls. There was no mirror in the room, only in the bathroom which made getting ready extremely difficult when as it was steamed up and damp in there and others would inevitably be using the bathroom. Booked as a three but everything in the room was catered for 2 (drinks in fridge, coffee pods, amount of towels left). There was no body wash in the shower even on the first day. We didn't ask as one of us had brought some with us so just shared. The lunch and dinner buffet were extremely similar, and pretty much the same each day. No option of lean meats, usually thigh if chicken, belly if pork etc. Our first restaurant booking was cancelled just over an hour before the reservation time due to weather (obviously not hotels fault). When I asked if there was any other restaurant available the receptionist put the phone down on me, when we called back she stated "we shouldn't have been booked in anyway because it was our first night and policy says no restaurant bookings on first night and last day". The Village evening, sadly, was just the buffet with less selection, just in a pretty venue. I have stayed in the Grecoted White Palace LUXME twice & assumed it would be like the Agreco Farm. Left disappointed. Sun beds reserved with no removal from hotel staff. "

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern for an historical hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Corfu old town. I really enjoyed the view. "

"Much improved by Mitsis to previous visit 2 years earlier - upgraded to a Bungalow for 36 euros a night extra and was worth it as much more space a very comfy beds. Standard of food and drink much better than previous, beach bar moved and improved so wasn’t a free for all as previous - new ice cream/crepe station and pasta bar were nice touches. Beach well maintained, as are the pool areas Would be nice if as other chains there was an option of all inclusive plus for branded alcohol/soft drinks to take it up a further notch All in all great break for out of season"
