Waking up and exploring the island before the crowds arrived was a truly special experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mont Saint-Michel."

"Take light luggage to avoid carrying heavy bags upstairs. Book dinner when staying overnight as there are only a few restaurants open at night and a view .the shuttle bus drops you short if 600m from the island. You can’t drive your car on there. There is parking at an allocated hotel near shuttle bus."
