I particularly liked the well equipped shared kitchen and the lounge. Above all, the view from the inn is stunning. "Our experience in Shetland was greatly enhanced by our hotel stay. The staff were very helpful. Particularly Scott and Curtis at breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The amenities were very good and useful. Even though it was a distance from Lerwick it was definitely the correct choice to stay. "

"We found the Shelton to be great for travelling by ferry. It’s a short walk to the city center. The included breakfast was a nice benefit with a continental or hot option. We would have liked a longer breakfast hours. We did find it a bit cheeky that the restaurant/bar manager wanted to charge us £3.50 for a glass of ice to take back to our room."
