Situated near the beach, this eco-friendly hotel is 8.2 mi (13.2 km) from Sullom Voe Oil Terminal and within 16 miles (25 km) of Vall Ayre and Lunna Kirk. Ayre of Hamnavoe and Esha Ness Cliffs are also within 20 miles (32 km).
It was a good stay - a comfortable, creaky , old-fashioned looking place with good service. It was quiet.
The service was good - sometimes a little too good as I felt a bit rushed at mealtimes - maybe because I was in my own?
The only downside I felt (which I should have mentioned at the time I know) was the water in shower/taps in room took a little time to heat up.....

Old world elegance, beautiful setting, attentive and friendly staff and incredibly food, especially seafood. With about 400 Scotch single malts, how can one go wrong!
Third visit but first with Hotels.com. Always a welcoming reception - nice ambiance and a historic building to boot. A bit out of the way, so a car is required if staying for any length of time. Great food & superb breakfast to order.
