We loved the property and the area.
The house is beautiful, plenty of room and comfortable.
The area was amazing, the Thursday food market with live music was fabulous.
Excellent French hospitality throughout the cillage.
We hugely enjoyed our stay at Marie Claire’s delightful house in Lauzerte. Stunning combination of views, pool and well equipped villa. Very peaceful and yet with an excellent selection of bars and restaurants within walking distance.
We will be back!
We enjoyed staying at the Villa La Terasse very much! The place is spacious, the kitchen well equipped, the pool is huge with a pretty nice view into the country and the village has plenty of great things to discover. Thanks for 10 great replenishing days in October!!
A beautiful house in the most idyllic French village
A stunningly beautiful house on the upper level of the medieval bayside of Lauzerte just a short walk away from the main square with little cafes, bars/restaurants. The decor was very stylish, traditionally french and very well equipped with everything you need. The outside terraces were just superb with wonderful views across the valley and hills
An absolute gem of a property in a delightful French medieval town. The view from the pool and outside area is quite stunning and one which we could not get enough of. And a host who could not have been more accommodating. Many thanks.
This place is just amazing. The photos give you a real good idea of what it’s like, but, man, to see this place in real life blew us away. The house has been beautifully renovated over 4 floors. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place in a lovely wee hilltop village. We’ll definitely be recommending to friends and family.
Lovely house close to the central square of historical and beautiful Lauzerte. An ancient building renovated tastefully and sympathetically with stylish and characterful decor. Spacious, well equipped and with good amenities.
A travel cot and coverlet provided on request before arrival and a slight glitch with the swimming pool robot sorted out very promptly. Overall a great holiday in a wonderful place. Thank you to our host, Marie Claire.
We spent four weeks in this fabulous gite in the heart of a beautiful village. All three beds were very comfortable and there was a bathroom for each bedroom so an ideal place for us and our two sons and girlfriends. The house is spacious but the absolute jewel in the crown is the gorgeous pool and garden with breathtaking views across the valley. Marie Claire was extremely helpful when we needed to find a dentist for my husband and communications were excellent generally. Loved it so much that we will definitely return! The village itself is lovely with bars and restaurants in walking distance and live music in the square.
The house is outstanding and the views are mesmerizing. The house has everything you could possibly need while on holiday and located in an historic and very charming village. The pool area is nicer than most 5 star resorts, overlooking miles of fields and the beautiful countryside. We walked to dinner in the evenings coffee in the mornings. The Hotel De Quercy had fantastic meals and Etna pizzeria was perfect for a quick meal. Marie Claire could not be nicer and more accommodating. You will not want to leave this piece of heaven. We hope to be back.
We spent another four weeks at Marie Claire’s wonderful house and had a brilliant time. There are three good sized bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped for preparing meals, and there are two gas BBQs available, which we didn’t use but it’s good to have the option. Plenty of glasses, crockery, and good quality cookware. The pool is just beautiful, and the garden is well maintained with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas. The location is great, in the middle of this lovely bastille town with bars and restaurants within walking distance. The music bar has some excellent live music on Sunday evenings with some sort of outside catering, which varied each week. Decent supermarket on the outskirts of town and a good market in the square on Saturdays. Marie Claire was as helpful as ever. We were sad to leave and would love to come back!
Fantastisch house including pool and magnificent view
Upon arrival, Marie Claire, the owner, was present to welcome us and show us around the house. The house was beautifully furnished and super clean. Each room has a different style. Lovely. The terraces give a magnificent view of the valley. Especially in the afternoon, the colours are overwhelming.
The pool was super clean and nice as well. The kitchen was well equipped.
At night, you’re just a 2 minutes walk away from the lovely, peaceful village town square.
We definitely hope to come again.
Merci bien Marie Claire, a la prochaine !
We had a fantastic time at the house. Marie Claire was very helpful. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed and more. We would recommend it and the area, simply stunning!
Fabulous house - very comfortable and well equipped situated in an amazing village. We didn’t want to leave. Marie Claire was lovely and always replied promptly to any questions and gave recommendations when we arrived - which were all good.

Amazing Retreat
My family & I spent 5 day wonderful days in this beautiful home. Everything we needed plus more was available. We're looking forward to sharing this ideal home with family & friends.
Fantastic place and wonderful location...building works all around us for 3 weeks a little disappointing but overall did not detract from the wonderful place. Thanks to Marie Claire for all her help.
Beautiful property in the heart of a medieval bastide.
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The pool terrace is simply stunning with a view to match. The house is in the heart of Lauzerte, a beautiful medieval town. The communication from our host was excellent at all times.
Fabulous location, really chilled and efficient host and a wonderful house set into the bastide village of Lauzerte, right where you want to be. Stunning views from the amazing terrace, lovely bedrooms and lounge, a wonderful stay. Thank you, we will be back. Please !
A rare gem that we will return to in the future. The house and pool terrace are the best we have experienced in France. Lauzerte is also picture perfect.
Nothing was too much trouble for Marie-Claire and we would happily give her a 5 star review too.
