This was the perfect cabin for a couple's get away. The neighbors are far enough away with woods between the cabins for privacy. The cabin was clean and well-stocked with just the right things. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

Great location, convenient to Hocking Hills trails. The cabin was nicely finished inside and out. The hot tub was very relaxing after hiking.

Great Spot Near Hocking Hills

Very close to different spots of the park, a nice cozy property that is clean and quiet. Be aware there is no washer and dryer in case you packed extra light!

Peaceful, Romantic, Beautiful

Absolutely we’re blown away at how cute and romantic this cabin was. The hot tub was super relaxing and very nice to enjoy after hiking. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We will definitely be back as this was the same weekend we got engaged. Cannot say enough good things about this place.

Nice cabin,good for 2 adults. Everything is updated,& nice decor. Seems like great location,but our first time to Hocking Hills. Was great we could take our dog. Will try to get back again.

Great place to Unwind

The place is a very clean well-maintained and spacious cabin with some great amenities. We loved that it was dog-friendly. I would very much recommend this cabin to others. Areas for improvement would be the quality of water in the hot tub and maybe some additional kitchen accessories like dishes, silverware, etc.

Comfortable and cozy stay at the Hideout

Property was exactly as described. It was perfect for the two of us and our small pup. It was conveniently located to the trails in Hocking Hills State Park. The hot tub was delightful after a day of hiking. We wish there were drinking glasses, only wine glasses were available. And, maybe update cookware.

Honeymoon

The room was clean, the bed was not very comfy. Hot tub was the best part. In the amenities I thought it said there was a bathtub but there was not, that was a little disappointing. Over all it was cozy, quiet and the fireplace was a nice touch as well.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect little place for a weekend getaway! Jake, the host, was quick to respond to my questions. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and time spent in front of the fireplace. It’s a short drive to town to enjoy dinner. The large walk in shower with the rain shower head was a nice surprise. The only down side to our stay was the very firm mattress which we were not use to. Other than that, a perfect stay!

Everything was clean , comfy and quiet. Close to many things to do. There are the usual pots pans plates silverware, paper towels. Anything else be sure you take with you not a bad thing just letting people know.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay at the Hideout. It’s in a great spot for the local attractions. Was just the right size for my wife and I and our dogs. My only complaint is that the towels and wash cloths were damp and musty. Made us question if they had even been washed. We had to use our beach towels after showers because of this. Other than that it’s a nice place.

Quiet and Peaceful

Overall was a decent property, however they do not provide a lot of towels. Only 4 total for the whole trip and since the rental has a hot tub we felt like they should’ve provided more. Definitely bring your own towels if you stay here. Also the only kitchen towel that was provided was dirty and smelled like vomit… Overall tho the cabin was nice and it was a good location for hiking spots.

Great Hideaway!

We loved our stay at the Hideout! It checked all our boxes. Kitchen, hot tub, king size bed, fireplace, fire pit, and pup friendly! It was ready for us at check in and was nice and cool and welcoming when we came in from the 90 degree heat! 😎 Situated on the beautiful winding road, close to all major trails, this cabin is a hidden gem. We enjoyed our morning coffee sitting on the front porch! The yard was well maintained and great that we could let our pups roam and sniff around (not fenced in). This cabin has everything for a couple’s getaway! Highly recommend and will keep it in our list of favorites! Thank you!

Nice long weekend

We went as a quick getaway. The property was neat and clean. About 30 minutes from Logan. We had a little problem with the hot tub. The property owner responded quickly and got the issue taken care of with little effort. Enjoyed the fire pit… fire wood was close by. Next time we go we will plan on packing some groceries and cooking a little. The closest restaurant was only open Thursday-Sunday. All the other places we found were in Logan. Jacks steak hose was very good!!!
