Secluded log home - perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! Vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and rustic wood furnishings. Hot tub, fire pit, wood-burning fire place, porch swing, satelite tv and dvd player. Sleeps four, in two queen beds with two full baths. Well-equipped kitchen. Pet friendly (2 pet limit with $50+tax pet fee).
INCLUDED All of the Chalets include: a scenic setting; outdoor hot-tub; fireplace, grill and firepit; kitchen with cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and tableware; Roku tv with dvd player; bed, bath and kitchen linens; bath soap and a supply of dish soap; toilet paper and trash bags; access to the Chalets Resort pool at the Chalets Old Man's Cave location; central air conditioning and heat.
SITE Wooded location at the end of a long gravel driveway shared by Chalets cabin called Pine Creek. Four wheel drive required in winter conditions. Closest park is Conkles Hollow - 2 miles, a 5-minute drive. So these cabins are considered to be part of the Chalets Conkles Hollow location. Old Man's Cave is a 10-15 minute drive along some of the most scenic roads of the region. The Chalets Old Man's Cave location with office, pool and SaunaPods is a 20 minute drive.

The Pioneer cabin is a great, pet-friendly cabin in the heart of the Hocking Hills. This is a great cabin and is pet-friendly, which is a huge plus! We spent a weekend here, hiking , eating, and enjoying the Hocking Hills area.

Beautiful cabin in a secluded and serene wooded area of Hocking Hills.Had a warm and cozy feel, beautifully crafted and well maintained. Just bring some food, water and a toothbrush and get ready to explore the wonderful great outdoors!Location is very close to several State Park points of interests.Our stay was only for a weekend, but definitely made memories that will last a lifetime and will definitely return for a longer stay!

Overall, my boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Pioneer cabin! We loved the cabin! Very cozy and a much needed relaxing weekend away from the busy city. Only complaint is that the beds were not comfortable, very hard. Other than that, loved the hot tub and grill!

The Pioneer through Chalet at Hocking Hills provides a comfortable, clean cabin that is close to hiking trails and Grandma Faye's grocery store.This cabin's hot tub was the cleanest that I've experienced in the last 15 years.The fees seem excessive but they are clearly stated before booking.Overall, if you like bringing pets with you on vacation I would recommend the Pioneer.

Overall, the property is clean and well kept. We really enjoyed the cabin, fireplace, and hot tub. Hopefully the owners will read this and fix just 3 things. Please move the fire pit closer to the cabin, snake the downstairs bathroom sink and please, please, add some pillow top mattress covers to the beds or get new softer mattresses. Would gladly stay there again if the mattresses are fixed.

Perfect spot to all the great hiking locations. Cabin was very nice and comfortable for the most part. The mattresses would be the only thing that was uncomfortable. The dust on the fans could be paid attention to a bit more, I understand it’s hard to be on it all the time in the area it was located, but it was a lot. The outdoor grill could be replaced very loose and not secure. Those are my only suggestions. Everything else was absolutely amazing. Loved the open space and views. The games were fun to play with the family, and everyone had an amazing time. I would recommend this place. Note, if you are staying for an extended time call the lodge and ask them to check hot tub, and extra towels of maybe leave a hose to top off.

Hot Tub Great & Cleanliness of the cabin was great. Cabin amenities offered was standard fair which allowed us to pack light on kitchen/ home items. We brought our griddle and was happy with our stay! Beautiful area, serene setting, quaint picture perfect area. Wifi was not accessible at all for us the entire weekend. CB's or long range walkies are ideal if you have other parties that you need to stay in contact with for future reference. Pack a Flash light for sure. Will defiantly be back <*_*>. Cleaners was patient as I completed a trail with family day of check out and was late getting back to pick up rest of the cabin party by 40min :O, very patient and understanding =) 3 kids under 5yo was not ready for a long hike :0 WE APPRECIATE YOUR Consideration, patience, understanding ALOT!!!! We had a great time staying at the Pioneer Chalet and exploring Hocking Hills for the first time! The chalet was clean and exactly as listed, very easy check in and check out experiences. We loved the hot tub! It's in a great location, easily drivable to local, popular hiking sites and restaurants, but quiet and private, as well.
