Sherwood sits at the bottom of a small hill. Most vehicles handle it fine under normal conditions, but in winter, when ice and snow are a factor, we strongly recommend 4x4 or AWD.
About the WiFi
We run Starlink. It handles streaming, music, and browsing well. Video calls can drop now and then, especially on overcast days. Remote work is doable with the occasional hiccup. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out mid-Zoom.
The Setting
We're in the woods and keep up with regular pest control. A ladybird or a curious spider is just Hocking Hills being Hocking Hills.

Had to reschedule our trip due to “snowmageddon”. We ended up adding an additional day onto our stay. The host is fantastic and the property is great!

Sherwood is a nice modern, family friendly getaway destination.
Our family of six, ranging from 7 months to 73 years of age were quite comfortable there. We spent 5 nights during warm and humid August weather and the unit kept us quite comfortable. The AC unit is strong!! We enjoyed making a fire in the provided fire pit and appreciated that firewood was provided. Also used the hot tub and that was a treat, even during humid weather.
It was a bonus that linens were provided as were basic condiments and kitchen furnishings. We packed and brought our own food and made good use of the kitchen. Notestone staff were readily available and attentive to our requests and that also made the stay enjoyable. Hocking Hills is a beautiful area and there is much more to be seen than we managed to take in during our 5 night stay.

Perfect!
My family had so much fun staying here! We loved the game room, hot tub, fire pit, big beds, round tables for games! Everything we needed in the kitchen! We can’t wait to come back! We all loved it!
