Very nice hotel, located directly on the lake in front of a marina. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant has a good selection of food and nice ambience. Good buffet style breakfast. We booked a superior double room and were instead given a magnificent 70 square meter, two bedroom suite on the top floor … a surprise upgrade. It did not have air conditioning but was still comfortable with the windows open. The style of the hotel is dated but that’s a big part of it’s charm, and it’s well maintained. Parking is limited but we were allowed to park directly in front of the hotel entrance during our 2 day stay. The hotel provided vouchers that allowed us to travel for free on the train and bus system serving the lake area, which was great for visiting Lindau and Friedrichshaffen without having to use our car. We would highly recommend the place.

The property is great, right on the Bodnesee (Lake Constance). It's a little dated, but the amenities are nice and the rooms are big. Wonderful breakfast!

Enjoyable stay

the hotel is great! We loved it!! But when i did our check out i should pay "60 € !!!" For breakfast!!! We never took breakfast in the hotel and still had to pay for something that we never eat or used... that was not nice and it is a lot of money... the rest our stay was nice

Lovely staff
Right in the heart of Langenargen. Lovely hotel and staff. They helped us with plans for the day, the hotel rents bikes, so we rented bikes and enjoyed swimming in the lake and then riding out to Lindau for the evening. The only concern we had was there was no A/C in the room, and the hotel did not have fans. This was in the middle of one of the hottest summers on record for Europe, so we were worried about sleeping at night. But we opened all of windows, and the room cooled down very nicely.

Right on Lake Constance!
Beautiful location right on Lake Constance. The surrounding area would be a great place to get-away for the weekend. The same village around the hotel has great restaurants (the La Nuova Rosa was one of my favorites), but is limited to shopping after hours. There are nice walking trails offering a lot of nature to see. The hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. The breakfast in the morning was European buffet style and offered the normal selection of foods. The room we had was big enough for two people. Parking was available, but if you arrive too late in the evening, it can be challenging to find a space near the hotel.

Lage des Hotels fantastisch. Direkter an den See geht nicht! Personal komplett erstklassig. Einrichtung und Ambiente in die Jahre gekommen, aber damit lässt es sich trotzdem leben! Wir kommen wieder!

Einwandfreies Hotel, komme gerne wieder.

Vi havde en enkelt overnatning på vej mod Italien. Vi havde booket et dobbeltværelse kort før ankomst men blev opgraderet til en stor og dejlig lejlighed med udsigt til Boden søen og en lille lystbådehavn. Der var god stemning i området, samt god mad og god service på hotellet. Kan klart anbefales.

Sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit Blick auf den Bodensee. Dass Frühstück ließe sich sicherlich mittels Vorbestellungen besser organisieren. Man darf aber nicht vergessen, dass z. Zt. eine Ausnehmesituation herrscht.

Ordentliches Hotel
Es ist ein alteingesessen und sehr ordentliches Hotel. Die Lobby und auch der Eingangsbereich, sowie die Flure müssten langsam mal erneuert werden. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer im Dach, das modern eingerichtet war. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Das Frühstücksbuffet ist zu empfehlen. Es war sehr umfangreich und frisch. Schönes Bad.

Bei der Eigenschaft "familienfreundlich" sollte man nicht zu viel erwarten. Zwar ist das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht, auf die Erfordernisse einer (jungen) Familie einzugehen, allerdings gerieten diese auf Grund der Ausstattung des Hotels schnell an ihre Grenzen. Einen Zugang zu den Zimmern mit z.B. Kinderwagen ist schlicht unmöglich, da es keine geeignete Rampe gibt. Der Kinderstuhl, den man uns beim Frühstück anbot, hatte seine besten Jahre bereits lange hinter sich. Hier ist Eigeninitiative geboten. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind leider nur äußerst begrenzt vorhanden. Da sich das Hotel in Mitten eines verkehrsberuhigten Zentrums befindet, gibt es zwar kostenlose Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe, diese können jedoch zwischen 09:00 und 18:00 nur für eine Stunde genutzt werden. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass es im direkten Umkreis weitere Hotels sowie gut besuchte Ladengeschäfte gibt, was das Parkplatzangebot weiter einschränkt. Als Alternative wurde uns die eigene Tiefgarage für €9/Tag oder ein öffentliches Parkhaus für €6/Tag angeboten. Die Möglichkeit des Zimmerservices war zwar möglich, jedoch nur nach kurzer Diskussion mit dem Personal.

Danke für Ihre Bewertung... Es stimmt, dass die Parkplatzsituation nicht zufriedenstellend ist und unser Hotel nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an kostenfreien Stellplätzen anbieten kann. Aber dank der - allerdings nicht kostenfreien - Alternativen gibt es immer die Möglichkeit, das Auto in Laufnähe abzustellen. Wir werden in den nächsten Wochen unser Hotelprofil hier entsprechend aktualisieren und darauf hinweisen, dass es nur eine begrenzte Anzahl an kostenfreien Stellplätzen gibt sowie weitere Parkmöglichkeiten aufzeigen. Eine absolute Empfehlung... alles hat super gut gepasst. Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer, und was total schön war wir hatten sogar seeblick. Die sauberkeit war super. Die ausstattung auch sehr gut. Beim Personal hat auch alles gepasst auser eine Sache wenn man zb erst abend von einem ausflug gekommen ist, war es glückssache einen parkplatz zu finden. Einmat hatten wir keinen gefunden, dann mussten wir 6,00 euro bezahlen dür eine tiefgarage in der nähe.

Ein wirklich wunderbarer Hotelaufenthalt direkt am kleinen Hafen und keine zwei Minuten zum Strand. Ein schönes großes Zimmer mit allem was man braucht rundet den Urlaub ab. Sogar Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank sowie ein Safe waren vorhanden. Das Frühstück direkt auf der Terrasse an der Promenade mit großem und ansprechend gestaltetem Buffet waren herausragend.

The hotel is nice and situated right at the Bodensee. The breakfast is fine too and has many options even during Corona times. However in my opinion the hotel is not a lot of value for the money, and the lack of A/C in the rooms challenged a good nights sleep.
