Find hotels in Lamberville from £36

The best area to stay in Lamberville is within the historic village centre, particularly around the Church of Saint-Pierre.

This central area offers a quintessential Lamberville experience. You'll find a selection of traditional Norman cottages and guesthouses, many within walking distance of the local boulangerie, small shops, and the village's few eateries. The streets are narrow and winding, leading to the central square near the church, which often hosts local markets.

Couples looking for a romantic and quiet escape will find the village centre ideal. It provides a peaceful base to explore the local countryside, enjoy long walks, and experience genuine French village life without the bustle of larger towns. There's a real sense of stepping back in time here.

For families, staying slightly on the outskirts of the main village centre, but still within easy reach, can be beneficial.

The best time to go to Lamberville is during the late spring (May to June) or early autumn (September to October).

These periods offer pleasant weather, with mild temperatures and less rainfall than the peak summer months. You'll find the countryside in full bloom in late spring, making it ideal for scenic drives and exploring the local markets. Early autumn provides a beautiful display of changing leaves and is often a good time for enjoying local produce and harvest festivals.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities like cycling or walking through the Normandy countryside, these shoulder seasons are perfect. The conditions are comfortable for exploring the D-Day landing beaches and war memorials without the intense heat or larger crowds of July and August.
