Yet many booking sites still offer it. We had a problem with our hot water for a couple of nights but this was fixed after mentioning to reception. The setting of the hotel is nice with immaculate gardens but A LOT of steps to get anywhere. Our room was about halfway to the restaurant and was 116 steps down from reception! We got the feeling this hotel is more geared towards businesspeople from Kathmandu rather than tourists and the prices for anything at the resort reflected this. We didn’t really eat at the restaurant for dinner ($10 for breakfast buffet, $16 for dinner), preferring to walk into Godavari and eat for a fraction of the cost. The staff were not as friendly as other places we have stayed and also seemed a bit confused when we wanted to leave the resort to go sightseeing!
