This place is super special. A little oasis with great walkability to the sites in Thamel. The grounds and building are absolutely stunning. We loved the free rooftop yoga every morning and the free heritage walk around Thamel. Every detail of the building is absolutely beautiful--truly like staying in a sacred temple. If you are looking for a unique and authentic Nepali experience in the heart of Thamel, this is the place.

"For its location close to people I was meeting, hotel Himalaya is my choice always. This time I noticed they have done some renovation to the lobby and úpgrade if lift, that is good, but after check in I do noticed that the room is tied, bathroom also need upgrade - shower head is old and not one ..."
