"It's an older property that had become run-down and is now being refurbished by the couple who also run the motel across the street. The room was quite clean and comfortable aside from the small bathroom, typical of older motels. The air conditioner was relatively quiet for a wall-mount and was adequate once the room had done its initial cool-down. In spite of being on a busy road, there was very little traffic noise. It's about five minutes from a nice, local breakfast place and ten minutes from the entrance to Bok Tower Gardens. We'll probably stay there again."

"Alligators!!The only great thing about this property was the wildlife and quietness. There are 2 alligators in the lake out back so don’t let toddlers or small dogs out back. We loved to watch the alligators, big birds, and even saw wild boars in the distance. If you don’t plan on driving anywhere, you’re all set. If you do plan on driving to Disney, stores, etc plan on spending a lot of time driving. The area has quite a large number of housing developments and the single lane roads can’t handle it. It takes over an hour to get Disney and 45 minutes to get to shopping areas unless you’re just going to the Dollar General or Aldi.The place itself has roaches/bugs. We saw large roaches everyday. We ended up putting all our food in the fridge. The place needs a refresher. The sofa and beds were very comfortable. The owner was very responsive. A guest book would have been helpful While there was a WiFi password it didn’t work on any of the networks that were listed on our WiFi settings on our phones. The owner didn’t know which network to use. Unfortunately, AT&T doesn’t work very well there.If you’re planning to go to Disney, there are better options available."

"Hotel was fine. Problem was reservation management. I booked a room in mycar on way to hotel and paid for it as I had no plan tk cancel or change and when I got there 30 minutes later I found out that I hit the wrong date. I booked it for the following night. Receptionist was no help. I called Hotels.com they said they had to get Rodeway in reservations to change the date to current night. They refused to change it. I then had to pay for another night. They are that desperate. Hotel.com said they would request a refund. Rodeway Inn again refused to issue a refund. What pitiful customer service for a simple mistake and can't believe they are that desperate to steal $100 from me. I will never stay at another Rodeway Inn. or use Hotel.com ever again. I have used Hotel.com for years but now that Expedia bought them out they suck."
