"We were checked in by Simon from Brazil. He was so helpful. We selected the area we wanted to be near and we payed to upgrade to larger property. Simon was so patient and helpful."

"Our check in was pleasant. The gentleman who checked us in was helpful. Unfortunately, after we got to the room it was less great- we got a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom suite- it was plenty roomy, and there was a lovely screened in balcony. Unfortunately though, there were no towels in two of the bathrooms, less beach towels than we were supposed to have and very minimal supplies. We called for the towels which were left in a bag by the door- no apology or anything . There’s a keurig but no coffee pods, not even the reusable one where we could put our own coffee in- so you have to buy them at their little store or figure something out. There were no pot holders or dish towels, even though there’s a stove and oven. The whole place just seemed a bit run down and less than cared for. The headboard had a layer of dust in it. The screens on the balcony were coming apart a bit. The table in my room was missing a foot so the table was at like a 30 degree slope The water park was fun and the music and drinks were lovely. We enjoyed the day. However, very hard to find a seat in the shade- all of those seats you had to pay for. So that was a bit annoying. I felt like anything aside from the very basics has a substantial up charge. It was an ok weekend, but I did not feel like it was a special or outstanding place."

"Don't be fooled by the glossy photos online. I don't know how this hotel achieved its 3 stars. The reception and lobby area were very nice as pictured, but the room was terrible (119). The worst aspect was the appearance of what we believe were cockroaches which made everything else seem worse. The beds were noisy with worn out headboards and had soggy mattresses. The bathroom was grubby and tired. The Hotel is right next to a busy road so there was a lot of noise, added to by the barking dogs in an adjacent room and someone talking loudly on a phone outside our door at around 4:45 am. The breakfast was handed out in individual bags containing Muffins, Cereal Bars and Porridge. In addition, there was no hot food or toast available, only cereals, fruit juice and hot drinks. On this trip we stayed in9 different hotels and we rated this one 9th."

"We can’t stop talking about how amazing everything was at this resort. So far the best experience at a resort. We will definitely return, and recommend this place to family/friends! So much excitement about everything at this place that I’m at a loss for words. So much activities to do here that you don’t even get a chance to explore outside. Prices are good, staff is super friendly and helpful, security is extremely helpful and approachable. Just love it here!"

"I am an owner here and weeks prior to my stay, called and emailed them to get ONE night stay - no response. I checked into a different hotel (Kompose) which was deplorable, unsafe and expedia didnt help. I saw this property on expedia so I booked to have a decent, known experience. I told Mystic Dunes at check in that I was an owner. This didnt matter since I booked through expedia. They gave me a tiny, non updated room that smelled. I asked for the building I have stayed in for 20 years and they demanded an upgrade fee. I will be bringing this up to the BOARD of Hilton."
