"We love going to Mystic Dunes. I talked my brother and his wife into joining us this year. As we near retirement I was interested in the possibility of purchasing a week or two. unfortunately after several messages to the property, not only were we not close but in different buildings and far away from the building i requested. This has left me wondering if we did buy, and wanted our children or friends to join us for a vacation that we would not be able to get them close to us. And as always the response is " Sorry we are really busy and fully booked" Again I am not sure why they couldn't at the very least put us in the same building so we could also enjoy our nights together."

"Place needs an upgrade. My back still hurts from the bed. Dresser drawers were broken. Had to fix the toilet and shower before use. Dirty silverware and dishes in the drawer and cabinets. Microwave was dirty upon arrival. Ice machine was broken in the building for over 3 days then the key to the laundry room was broken. Couldn’t access our laundry and had to postpone plans. Not much of a vacation. "

"We stayed for 7 nights (dont know if we got points for entire stay ) of the 7 nights 3 of them were difficult , the sinks in the bathroom and kitchen were blocked and black debris was coming up both of them , on wed morn we had an engineer come in and put chemicals down , this worked til thursday after dinner , then the blockage returned , Maintenance (Mike ) came and advised us we needed it snaked and he would put a ticket in ! All day thursday went by with no maintenance from hotel despite 4 phone calls to the service desk and one to the manager who assured us someone would be attending immediately (nope ) at 8 pm Mike came back on duty and brought his own equipment and tried to snake the drain , no luck, We were then advised we were changing rooms for our last night which was a pain . The fridge in our unit didnt work properly , had maintenance out , was a design flaw apparently , all the ice cream melted ! Paid $ 22 for the free style soda cup to find the dispensers West broken"

"Clean room, hallway and outdoor areas dirty. Pool not available due to renovations.. was not aware of pool being closed. Cancelled all but first night due to this. "

"Staff was kind upon arrival at close to midnight, but the room was well below our expectations. The room appeared sheets were clean, but the air was stale and musty in the room. We stayed because it was so late at night, but the AC struggled to cool the room that night, and when I woke up the next morning, I saw several live pests and decided immediately that we would not be staying "
