"this place provided a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Austin and Houston. the house was impeccable and vey comfortable. the pool was our main focus of fun. the low legged was perfect for the kids who are learning how to swim. it was nice we did not have to get extra trash bags or coffee since they wee provided. most of your basic seasonings were provided too. lots of plates and bowls so place settings were easy to handle the crowd we had at this birthday celebration. thank you so much"

"The AC was good and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean and check in was easy. They have a pool, but did not have time for a swim. I slept well and I would definitely stay there next time I go to Kingsland. "

"The house is settled perfectly along the river to watch the sunset with your own little cove to fish, kayak and paddle board. We especially appreciated the extra number of water toys available and the wonderful well-kept yard for the kids to play. The upstairs bunk room is more than spacious to accommodate all the kiddos too. The extra guest house was a well furnished bonus. "

"This was a dream staying here! The house is beautiful. Incredible views! The host was super nice and responed quickly. The hot tub was not working for our stay but that didn't really matter once we stepped into the house and the pool made up for that! We definitely will be coming back! "

"From the beginning our host, Robert, made sure we had what we needed. He was proactive and made sure we knew he was there if we had questions. No issues with check in or check out…very easy.Now about the property. It was just as advertised. Between the casita, upper living area and downstairs living area, there was plenty of open areas for all to spread out and not feel crowded. Rooms were very nice and clean. Kitchen was nice as well. A tad small but just what we needed. We cooked in it 3 different times and had all the pots, pans, plates, utensils needed. Now the outdoor areas. The upper and lower decks/docks are first class. We brought kayaks but spent most our time fishing the docks day and night. Caught bass, catfish, perch and even a gaspergou!! Watched sunrises and immaculate sunsets. Had a day or so of rain but we could still be outside with the many porch coverings and seating options.Would definitely rent again. Thanks Robert!!!"

"Communication was slow and lacking. Host was not accommodating. House was not clean! The couch is covered in stains. The rug looked as if it hadn’t been clean in a long time. Refrigerator was dirty. Every dish I attempted to use was dirty. Coffee cups had coffee rings in them. We did not have WiFi the entire time. I did reach out to the host about this. No resolution. The table and chairs outside were covered in bird poop. I had seen this on a review with the host saying they would look into it. Welll, I’m here to say still covered in bird poop. I also want to mention. Anyone wanting to book this property that has a boat. DONT! The entrance into the property is very narrow and the tree is very low. Backing in and out is a nightmare and for some it would not be possible. I will never book with this host again. Worst VRBO experience I’ve encountered and I travel often. "

"Great Location, we had a large group and never felt crowded, house is Hugh!! Elevator did not work, not good for 2 of us old people!! But we managed, lots of stairs in this house. Lots of outdoor spaces for entertaining. Host was great with communicating!Kids fished right off the dock and caught variety of fish."
