"The Tides is an absolute gem of a place. My family of four just stayed in a large room with a kitchen and felt like we had our own little Laguna apt. The pool was warm and refreshing at the same time, and always so clean. The staff was so attentive. Free parking. We already miss it."

"Great location. With ocean experiencing hurricanes it was a challenge to get to the beach. Our room had a kitchen, but no microwave. Tough to prepare food. And the refrigerator cooled slowly. Our neighbor had a gate that slammed every time they passed by. Some padding will make it quieter and less jarring. Next time we’ll take advantage of the rooms with balconies."

"Overall it's a good hotel. They have an extra special amenity with the golf course even though it's only nine holes it's still in great shape and fun to play. However, there is one little bother which is there is no cell phone service at the hotel. They should invest in a cell tower for the prices they charge.. the other problem is signage which is very poor from the highway and could lead to an accident. So be careful entering."
