Great place to stay. I would go back again. The location is steps away from the ocean. Nice to take a morning walk along the coast and in the evenings to view the beautiful sunsets. Walkable to the town. The staff was excellent and very accommodating. The free breakfasts were very good with many selections.

Great location. Parking was so important and was great! Everything was clean and orderly and worked as expected. I liked the welcome water/soda and the afternoon cookies. I didn’t get to take advantage of breakfast or the rooftop but love that it’s offered. Good water pressure in the water.

Location, location, location. We had a few hiccups when we checked in but the manager took care of it. Its an old place but its kept up fairly well. They provide free waters and soda and a different pitcher of infused water each day. Delicious! Breakfast is include. Pretty basic but all you really need. Would definitely stay again.

The Pantai Inn is truly an amazing property and such a hidden gem! The location is fantastic — right on the water and within walking distance of the seals, downtown shopping, and so many great restaurants. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, and I loved all the thoughtful complimentary amenities, including breakfast, sodas, and laundry. The atmosphere of the property is charming and relaxing, and the rooftop lounge area with the fire pit was such a great place to unwind. Before our trip, I had a really hard time deciding which hotel to choose, but now that I’ve stayed at the Pantai Inn, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed here for about 3 nights and the staff were very accommodating. The breakfast was also great and we would definitely come back. We loved our ocean view and were able to enjoy the private balcony a lot.

A absolutely beautiful location right on the coast. The room was very clean and thoughtfully arranged. It was just my husband and I - the room wasn’t huge but seemed perfect for what we needed and comfortable. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. We didn’t really use the kitchen but it was nice to have our own small kitchen with stove top. Breakfast was delicious with Belgium waffles, scrambled eggs, potato’s, sausage, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, and more. This was a wonderful place to stay and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again. Thank you! An amazing start to our 30th wedding anniversary / 2nd honeymoon trip!!

Rooms are clean and comfortable. I stayed at an ocean view and it was beautiful. The bathroom was tiny. The staff were friendly and helpful. They took us to beach and pick us up (golf cart) Breakfast was basic but good to start the day. No pool or Jacuzzi . Didn’t like the balcony because you share with other guests. I prefer more privacy. Overall an older boutique style hotel in a great location. I’ll stay here again.

Great place for our family to enjoy the Fourth of July! Booked two very spacious, ocean view rooms for our family. Beautiful location, steps from the ocean and Ellen Browning Scripps Park. We were able to enjoy the beach, walk to shops and restaurants on Girard, and walk to the Cove to view the drone show launched from La Jolla Shores as well as a few other fireworks shows. The included breakfast was delicious and fresh! Loved the rooftop area!
