No geral, foi uma estadia confortável, com funcionários muito simpáticos e educados. No entanto, tivemos alguns problemas com o chuveiro e o ar-condicionado. A propriedade também precisa de manutenção, pois as paredes pareciam velhas e malcuidadas. Ótimo atendimento, mas as instalações definitivamente precisam de uma atualização.

The reception desk closed at 5 pm which is so early on and since there isn’t any transportation it was tough to coordinate anything because other than the receptionist nobody spoke English and she left after 5. Maybe it was off season but the whole place was uncharacteristically empty.

Chablé Maroma”s location, facilities, restaurants, and vibe are outstanding and superior to the half dozen or so Riviera Maya properties I have stayed at in recent years. The breakfast at the Kaban restaurant on the water is a sublime experience. The jungle spa has everything you’d expect at a world-class facility, and it is right in the middle of a teeming jungle. The staff are always genuinely helpful and courteous.

It was heartbreaking to see that the beach was a total disaster. Sargassum, sandbags, smelly water made it impossible to walk the beach, let alone get in and swim. We had to hang out in the pool or go to Maroma Beach, which is a part of their package. The restaurant food was average, the breakfast and lunch buffet was terrible. They had a Mexican Fiesta Night and I got sick from the food and lost half of a day being in bed and close to the bathroom. The concierge pushed their "breakfast and property tour" and offered a "free" massage if we went along to see what El Dorado has to offer. I cancelled and said I'd pay for my own massage and the concierge was obviously upset with me and not nice after that. His manager also approached us as we were waiting in the lobby. The rooms are nice, the pool is awesome, the wait staff was great, it was a nice enough place but we will never go back.
