Pleasent hotel just 2 blocks from the heart of town. Good onsite resturant that had a scrumptious fixed menu offering for breakfast. Room was comfortable with working AC. Staff were very accomodating of requests.

Clean small property. Nice friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Hotel did not provide any information regarding activities. Although they were easily available once you were in the shopping area. We used Uber for transportation.

We had bed bugs in the room which spoiled our stay in the hotel. Breakfast was good at the restaurant downstairs.

My late check-in was easy. My whole family very well. Good wifi signal. Excellent breakfast options. Within walking distance to bus terminal.The bathroom was typical Costa Rican style.

Exceptional service
We had exceptional service. Fernanda was fantastic and arranged for us to have breakfast to-go because we were checking out super early before breakfast was available. The room was basic, clean, everything you need. Walkable to everything. Pool looked nice though we didn’t use it. Would stay again if passing through la fortuna.

Paula at the front desk was so nice and helpful, and the free breakfast was delish. Best avocado toast I’ve ever had.

The photos shown are not exactly how it appears. We were given a room that was so dark and with an outdated tv, no fridge for medication. There was. Very little parking for rental. However it was very near shops and restaurants.

This hotel is a wonderful hidden treasure in La Fortuna. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I strongly recommend this lodging facility for anyone looking for an affordable price with all this Inn has to offer. LUIS A FEBRES

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel Arenal Rabfer for 8 days. Our stay was very pleasant and peaceful. The customer service here was exceptional and my daughter and I loved the breakfast. Roberto was very kind and treated us like family. Fernando (the lady with the pretty eyes) was very personable and sweet. Everyone was supper nice and made us felt welcome. I would definitely come back or recommend this hotel to my friends.

Checkin was quick and easy…..receptionist Laura was very welcoming….hospitable……comprehensive with her hotel orientation…..other receptionist Magally was very accommodating……extra pillows and extra clothes hangers. Breakfast was very delicious with several choices……allowed us to take our coffee refills back to our room…. kudos to the cook….Gema. The daily room and building cleaning was vey professional……housemaid Kelin did a fabulous job. I watched her clean the sliding door tracks at the large upstairs events room. I rate this hotel beyond five stars.

Rooms need a makeover
The Hotel Arenal Rabfer staff was really nice upon check-in. The rooms have seen better days. The bed comforters are paper thin and had stains on them. They definitely need to be replaced, and offer better quality comforters so you aren't cold at night. The other issue is that you can't flush toilet paper down the toilet so it all needs to go in the tiny trash can in the bathroom, which is quite disgusting. I understand the plumbing is old but this is really not OK for guests who are staying more than a night. The price was right for one night but would not stay here again.

Good choice in La Fortuna town
Clean, basic rooms. Short on some room amenities (towels, drinking glasses) but delivered when requested. Excellent breakfasts included with stay. Seems to be a favourite choice of Ticos. Friendly staff, but limited in knowledge of tours/activities. Be prepared to pay to get to Arenal volcano area if you don’t have a vehicle, as there is no public transit.

Hotel is just ok. It is very close to all the La Fortuna downtown shops and restaurants..that’s a plus. Rooms are just ok..they have not been updated in years ! They still have the old box tv with 4 channels. No hair-dryer or shampoo in the bathroom, safe did not work as well. Breakfast was basic. The only plus point was the staff at the front desk. Ericka was very helpful and guided us well with her recommendations for tours and arranging transportation to San Jose.

Good enough for us to not feel uncomfortable being here. The air conditioner worked very well and the staff was extremely kind, specifically the girl that worked in the mornings. Go 7 am for breakfast or you won’t have much options by 8. Bed was comfortable as well and housekeeping was daily

A nice, basic stay
I stayed here with family and friends for one night. It was our first night in Costa Rica and a good way to start off the trip. Although a basic hotel room, the staff at the front desk were very helpful when checking us in and when answering our questions regarding matters such as where to eat, what to do, etc.

Good value for what you pay. New owners in November and they are trying to fix it up. Electrical and plumbing needs some work. They have a good deal for breakfast with a Soda across the street which is excellent and highly recommended. They are delightful and want feedback. Would recommend.

We stayed there for two nights. The rooms are ok, but feel like no one has been living there for a long time. The first desk was helpful with booking tours. Breakfast and internet was fine. It's close to shopping and restaurants but not noisy.

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Belle chambre. Piscine mais nous ne l'avons pas utilisé. Très bon restaurant juste à côté où l'on prend le petit déjeuner. Bon petit déjeuner avec un plat au choix. Personnel très sympathique. Petit parking. Très bien situé dans le centre.

L’hôtel est très bien situé. Le personnel est très chaleureux. La nourriture était très bonne. On a une vu sur le volcan depuis l’hôtel. De plus, j’avais demandé d’avoir une personne qui venait me chercher depuis l’aéroport de la fortuna et la personne était bel et bien là. Si je reviens à la fortuna, je reviendrais avec plaisir à cet endroit.

Buen hotel para estancias cortas
El hotel es muy acogedor. Cerca de todo y tiene parkeo. Las habitaciones estan bien, la atención es muy buena y el desayuno es a la carta y con horario. La piscina es chica pero cumple su cometido.

Für eine Nacht ging's gerade so. La Fortuna Downtown Shops und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Unser Vierbettzimmer und das Bad waren winzigst - ein Doppelzimmer halt mit zwei zusätzlichen Betten vollgestellt. Der Zimmersafe funktionierte nicht. Kein Fön oder Shampoo im Bad. Das Frühstück ist ziemlich einfach gehalten. Die Rezeption war hilfreich beim Buchen eines Thermalbades.

Pratique et accessible!
Bel endroit près de tout et en même temps tranquille. Le personnel est souriant et accueillant. Le seul petit bémol est qu’on entend les voisins dans leur chambre. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour!
