Nice hotel. The bath was a little gross (stains) and there were ants in the room. The hotel location is beautiful, the food was good, and the staff were all very very good.

The staff at Ladera is committed to making sure you have a great stay, and it shows in every touch point — from planning excursions to turndown service. They do offer room service breakfast but I recommend eating breakfast at the restaurant. Take the time to explore! There are so many cool features!

It is no wonder this is such a popular resort. The staff were outstanding…too many to mention, but here are a few: Lovina buffet restaurant), Rose (housekeeping), Kershana (activities) and yoga master Vernon! Food was great, esp on the Verandah and Trattoria. Only negative was Hermina at the reservations desk…her blunt negative attitude stood out amongst everyone else’s easy, friendly demeanour. The resort did a commendable job clearing out the sargassum each morning. And it was a pleasant surprise to play on four dedicated pickleball courts. Overall, while our Adults Only section gave us the quiet relaxing vibe we wanted, it was fun to see all the kids and parents enjoying themselves in the waterpark, at the pool and around the Cove.
