Kumamoto Hotel Castle

"We only stayed one night and weren’t able to use the restaurants etc as our main goal was to see the castle and tour surrounding areas.The castle is a short walk away. The hotel was built in 1960 has a vibe of a classic old Japanese hotel. But well maintained. The staff speak minimal English. I liked the room and had a view of the castle. My only complaint was there was no English tv. Not even BBC or CNN news. "
